Reginald blackfield

What would be the worst plot twist ever?

385 posts in this topic

Imagine if it was found out that Cersei's children were infact legitimate baratheons, after all we'd gone through hoping for the rightful king to take the iron throne it was found out that they were the rightful king. I could think of nothing worse.

What do you think, what would be the worst plot twist ever in your opinion?

I don't know if this would be considered a plot twist but Valonqar= Jaime Lannister is just too much cornyness I can handle.

Bran uses the Weirnet to summon his cousin Tony.

/thread

Why is it the worst twist? Everyone likes cousin Tony. He is the life of all the parties.

Worst plot twist? The Roose not being loose. :(

He can be unloosed, though, and that would be a true shame.

I believe in Mr Martin so much I don't think there's gonna be a bad plot twist :)

And seriously, if Jon and Dany end up as NOT antagonists, that will be poor.

Victarion doing something clever would be really weird. He's marked for stupid death.

Sansa not killing Baelish.

Stannis losing the battle in the snow.

A lot of these aren't really "twists" guys...

Well I can't really say anything's a bad plot twist. It all depends on how it's executed.

ETA: And most of what people above me have listed are just things that they don't want to happen, or things that they don't agree with. Can't really call them "bad".

Worst plot twist would be for R'hllor to be real & the good guy.

GRRM stated explicitly that no god will manifest himself in person in the books.

The Others are just misunderstood and will go home if we ask them to.
