Gregor would probably kill Ned, but Thoros would keep reviving Ned, and Ned would slowly be losing part of himself, and then when Ned sees Cat in the river, he gives her the kiss to save her and dies, never knowing the monster Cat would have become. Stannis being a selfish greedy cunt trying to disinherit his trueborn nephews started the war. Showimg how fabricated and pointless it all was would be amazing.
