A- Aegon has the traditional Targ looks. Dayne does not. Elia does not. Where'd those come from?

B- where has anyone speculated that Dayne loved Elia? What's your proof?

C- maybe you could convince us of Elia+Dayne= Rhaenys, but not Aegon

What evidence do we have that Arthur Dayne had a thing for Elia? None that I know of.

What evidence do we have that Arthur Dayne was anything less than a paragon of honor? Less than zero.

Nothing here, no discussion to be had. This pot isn't even cracked; it's ground to powder.

Why not? It is discussed all over the board that Arthur Dayne loved Elia. It is certainly possible and even if no one finds out then Aegon would still be Arthur Dayne's son and a candidate for Azor Ahai if Dawn is Lightbringer.

Yea. What others said. We have no evidence of anything like that. The only thing that they have in common is that they are in the same vicinity and Dornish. Ashara was Elia's lady in waiting but we don't even know if they were truly friends. IRL, many lady-in-waitings were political appointments and a place where Kings had a fresh crop of mistresses.

Some people not all discuss it because they want Elia to be "tainted" so that gives a reason for Rhaegar to run off and leave her for another woman and Arthur is the closest person they can think of because of the Dornishness and we know about him more than the other KG, and people also don't believe that Arthur is the paragon of knightly honor and virtue that he has been held as.

Like Dany Girl said, if any of Elia's children were Arthur's it would be Rhaenys. Aegon had very Targaryen looks. I take it to mean that it was more than just silver hair and purple eyes.

Arthur Dayne was the paragon of knightly tradition and skill. He Was the Sword of the morning after all. The KG was a real brotherhood in those days, bound by honor, duty and skill. Not the joke of a group under robert and Joff. Their sense of honor and duty to their vows drove them to fight, greatly outnumbered with Eddard and his men after the king and the Prince were killed and almost all of the kingdom had bent the knee to robert. IMO it would be impossible to hide something from the others in the KG.

IMO the timeline doesn't work, there nothing that points to her caring for him, and her having feeling for a Stark. I think her child was the Mad Kings.
