I value Barristan's opinion on swordsmanship. People can say what they want about him, but no one in the world knows the skills of a knight better than Barristan Selmy.

Anyway, this thread is who you would want as your squire, I would want the best natural swordsman since Jaime Lannister. I never said he doesn't need a few more years of training, Selmy even says that. But that's what being a squire is.
