Cosmic Dancer
Not epic fantasy but I LOVE Haruki Murakami's US/Canada cover art. It's very simple but effective. Kat
And this is Mieville's The City and The City: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/m/china-...ty-and-city.htm
I don't like that one so much...the picture of the city at the bottom is pretty, and I like the color scheme, but the title blends in too much, to the point where it just looks like photoshop-y background noise rather than a title. Maybe that's the intention, but it's too subtle for me. (Not that I'm a fan of bestseller-style covers where only the author's name and the title are emphasized, but being able to the read the title is nice, too.) Peadar
I'm going to blow my own trumpet (or should I say, 'strumpet'?) with the cover art for the German translation of The Inferior. It'll be out January 19th. Get an eyeful here.
Larry.
Nice trumpeting there, Peadar, although I have to admit that I like the UK/US cover a bit more, as for some odd reason I'm thinking of a bucktooth when I see that image :P
