Question about Arya

This is how it went:

- Arya was working for Tywin at Harrenhal. When Tywin left, she carried on working for the Lannisters

- A bunch of prisoners arrive, and Arya recognises one of them as a Northern lord. She decides to help free them

- When those Northerners are free, they take over the castle and give it to Lord Bolton, who was close by. Lord Bolton is still a Stark bannerman at this point, and flies his own sigil and the Stark's direwolf

- So Arya could have revealed her true identity at this stage, given that Bolton is sworn to Robb Stark. However, there's something about Bolton she doesn't like/trust, so she doesn't. She keeps playing the role of servant, and Bolton takes her as a chambermaid.

It is still hotly debated as to whether it would have been a better move for Arya to reveal her true identity to Roose Bolton there and then. At the time, yes, maybe. But

in view of Bolton's change of allegiance and schemes with the Freys/Lannisters, maybe Arya did well to keep her identity secret!
