A few friends of mine were extras on the set and this is all the info I gathered so far. I will collect more so please post your questions and I will update this post.

One of the first scenes filmed with the extras was a scene where Loras (now a member of the Kingsguard) is practicing sword fighting and is ambushed by the Faith Militants. This scene set the tone for most of the shooting done in Dubrovnik. In the scene, Loras can be seen rehearsing some fight moves when the Faith Militants arrive out of nowhere and after a brief struggle, he is taken away. The Faith Militants are dressed in black wool robes with chains running on both their sides. They also have a seven pointed star in a circle on their forehead which has the appearance of being cut into their skin. Their weapons are crude clubs and maces.

The second scene was filmed in the same street as the third, with the first half of the street serving as a tavern and the second part serving as a marketplace. In this second scene, the action takes place at a marketplace, with a lot of extras and small shops. While most shops were selling fruit and vegetables, pots and weapon equipment, there was one stand which was selling small religious artifacts and trinkets. The shopkeeper (in a distinct green robe) wasn't an extra, as he was speaking in English and had a speaking part. The scene plays out like this; the Faith Militants arrive on the scene on the right side of the shopkeeper, start bashing on the table and, as the shopkeeper tries to fight them of, he is overrun (there are about a dozen Faith Militants on the scene), kicked on the floor and has his table flipped over. When they start to leave, the shopkeeper, lying on the floor yells to the two Goldcloaks, that are watching this unfold from the wall above, for help but they just turn around and the scene cuts.

The third scene, shot in on the lower part of the street is a scene that took a longer time to shoot. It is a tavern scene. Here we have the Faith Militants arrive from the marketplace down some steps to the entrance of a tavern. About a half stay at the tables that are in front of the tavern, surrounding the patrons that are sitting there while the other half goes into the tavern. A few moments’ later patrons flee the tavern and the Faith Militants start bashing the tables and the patrons of the tavern. When everyone flees, the Faith Militants proceed to brake open the barrels of vine and ale as it pours all over the streets.

The last scene shot that day was a scene in a narrow alley. At the beginning of the alley there are a few peasants (who are actually played by stunt guys) on the floor gambling. The faith militants come from the above and proceed to beat them and bust up the game.

The following day, shooting resumed in the narrow streets of King’s Landing… rrr… Dubrovnik. The first scene was of some Sparrows chasing an old guy from a brothel down the street. The man is nude, old and fat with a gray beard and as he is running away he is hit by the Sparrows on his back as they chant in unity: “Sinner!”.

The next scene, which took the rest of the day to shoot, was at the intersection in the city, where Littlefinger is walking with two bodyguards when he is confronted (ambushed) by the Faith Militant. Their leader is none other than Lancel Lannister, with his hair cut short. In the conversation they have, Littlefinger greets him as “Lancel Lannister” but he replies that it’s brother Lancel now; they abandon our surnames when we join the order. Brother Lancel than proceeds to tell Littlefinger how “his father weighs the sins of others on a scale, but that his mother forgives those that repent. After a short conversation, he lets Littlefinger pass.

The third day was a big one. A huge chunk of the city was sealed off and there were a LOT of extras being used. The first scene being filmed was a procession of three litter (carriages) the first one being Tommen’s, the second Margaery’s, and the third Cersei’s. There were two much smaller ones, possibly carrying royal animals (Ser Pounce perhaps) or smaller children. The procession went through the streets with the cheering crowds of mostly peasants who were cheering and waving but every couple of steps, a Sparrow could be seen standing still, with a menacing look at the carriages, especially towards the third one. The actors were not in them when it was filmed, instead the cameraman would film from the inside.

The second scene was filmed from the back alley, and the scene was of king Tommen arriving at the steps of what appears to be the steps toward the High Sparrow’s chambers. It was a short scene and filmed quickly.

The next scene was the last to be filmed; it was a continuation of the previous scene. King Tommen, along with the Goldcloaks and the Lannister guards arrives at the steps but is stopped by the Faith Militant. They will not let him through as “his holiness is praying”. The Goldcloak leader encourages a battle but king Tommen defuses the situation and leaves with his guards. As he is leaving, the crowd beneath the steps yells “Bastard, abomination.”. A short scene, but took a long time to make, as there were a LOT of angles, extras on scene. The steps are filled with beggars and Sparrows attending to them and bellow the steps is a rundown marketplace with the sick and hungry walking about and the Sparrows helping them.

All the above described scenes were filmed for the third and fourth episode of season 5. The director was Mark Mylod.

After a break day, filming resumed and it was a filming of a scene from the first episode of the fifth season.

This scene was of Cercei arriving with the litter used the previous days for king Tommen. She arrives at the steps that lead to Great Sept of Baelor. She is dressed in all black and accompanied by Ser Meryn Trant. The flags have been replaced with all black flags with a Lannister crest. Behind her, in front of the steps are the peasants and common people, while along the steps are noble people (with Margaery Tyrell) and at the top of the steps Sparrows with High Sparrow at the center. The Sparrows and the High Sparrow are dressed in simple gray wool tunics. He greets her and she proceeds to go to the right to go in the Sept.

The last scene shot that day was at the same steps with Lady Olenna. This is a scene from the seventh episode and it is very brief. Basically, these steps to the Sept change drastically from the first to the seventh episode. In the first episode the steps are nice, neat and tidy while in the seventh episode; they are dirty, filled with beggars and sick people, with Sparrows aiding them. Lady Olenna is seen coming down the steps with Tyrell guards, and before she gets on her litter, a young guard steps forward with a note (a scroll). After he hands it over to her, she reads it and leaves.

The last thing filmed on the streets took three days to shoot and was the most anticipated scene; the Walk of Shame. It was filmed on various locations, composed of three distinct parts. The first was at the steps at the Sept. Jonathan Pryce and other Sparrows were aligned on the steps with the Faith Militant guarding them from the mob. The High Sparrow holds a speech, I’ll paraphrase: “Before you stands Cercei, of house Lannister, mother of his grace, king Tommen, widow of his grace king Robert. She has admitted to the sins of fornication and adultery. She stands as the Gods made her, naked, asking for your forgiveness as she undergoes her walk of penance.” The speech part was funny to make because Jonathan Pryce kept forgetting his lines. Then a Septa, the only one there violently disrobes her and as Cercei starts to walk, she walks behind her, ringing a bell yelling “Shame!” They are accompanied by four Faith militant, guarding them. The walk was filmed in different locations but I think in a chronological order as the crew people were careful how they were managing the extras and the intensity of the crowd reaction. The ugliest part was filmed in a narrow street where Cercei makes a corner and this part is supposed to represent the slums. The most shit-and-piss throwing, yelling and spitting (not real spit) on her was here. It looked horrible there in real life, can’t really imagine how awful it will look on TV. The last part was filmed at Ploce gates; this was the last day of filming. At this part Cercei is already crying and at one point she slips on the floor, but very briefly. Important to note this; there was a body double used! The body double suffered the worst as things were thrown at her and not on Lena. Each part would be filmed like this; the body double would pass, extras would go wild, then, Lena would pass, with nothing being thrown and the extras only yelling. Lastly, a guy holding a smaller green screen would pass, with the extras told not to throw things at the green screen but in front of it. One of the most important crew members explained to the extras that Lena’s face would be cut in the VFX and pasted onto the body double. The walk is in the tenth episode.

In summation:

EP 1 - Cercei arrives at the Sept

EP 3 & 4 - Faith Militants destroying a pub, Littlefingers brothel, a gambling game, a merchant selling "false Gods" is beaten; Littlefinger encounter with Loras, King Tommen trying to go to the Sept and being turned away

EP 7 - Lady Olenna coming out of the Sept and receiving some scroll

EP 10 – The Walk

Jesus it seems like they will really be playing a huge emphasis on the faith next season!! I wonder if all of this is after or before cersei rearms the faith??

Anyways thank you for all this info

yes, practically all scenes filmed on the streets of Dubrovnik featured them!

There was a scene from the first episode filmed as well, It's a scene with a lot of extras and the scene is with Cercei meeting the high Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) but there were no Faith Militants there... will update the post with that...

Your friends played Faith Millitiant guards? Cool

How are you sure that Loras is of the Kingsguard? Do you know why he wasn't wearing armor?

A friend was a FM, a friend was a peasant and a friend was a noblewoman... Loras was just practicing so I guess armor wasn't necessary...

No further spot of Loras throughout the shooting in the steets ?

And I really look forward to new Lancel !

No, Loras was only in this one scene

Was Nikolaj not present?

There was some talk that the actor was present but he didn't film any scenes, that's a fact... keep in mind that yesterday and today, they were filming in a locked out villa with no extras so I don't have any idea who is there or what is filmed!

Cersei can just name him there to break the marraige.

Either Olenna will take Willas place in TWOW, or Willas will be Loras' cousin or something, or we just wont see the Reach so they said **** it.

Are they going to have Kevan there? He's a pretty big part of the KL events in ADWD and AFFC. It would be absolutely illogical if at Tywin's funeral, his brother, who was pretty much his right hand man, wouldn't be there. Hope he makes it.

Otherwise, great news, and thanks for sharing! Glad to see that they didn't forget Lancel. I thought they weren't going to follow up on him seeing his absense in S4.

I have no idea what's up with them all of the sudden putting Loras in the KG. I thought he was the only heir in the show. They've established many times that he is the only one, and that there's no Willas or Garlan. Even if it was on Cersei's command, would the Tyrells really let her do it without their consent?

The fact that Loras is being arrested by the Faith is interesting. Will Cersei be accusing him of sleeping with Margaery?

Maybe the Tyrell brothers still exist but instead of being older than Loras they are younger brothers.

Wouldnt make sense cause Tywin said hed rob Olenna of the Tyrells heir and they would have NO heirs. Would be hard to say if he had younger brothers. Only could be cousins or bastards now.

Thank you, Tristan Snow.

Wow, so much info ... okay, my thoughts on this. From what you have told us, we will get to see:

- the Faith Militant openly and aggressively trying to weed out sinners (whoring, gambling, drinking, practicing of other religions),

- rumors of Cersei's incest gaining more momentum again (hence Tommen being yelled at and Cersei becoming the centre of the FM's ire),

- Olenna returning to / staying in KL and being informed of what happened to her grandchild(ren),

- Loras being arrested (either for his homosexuality or because Cersei accuses Margaery of incest),

- Lancel following his book storyline in so far as he becomes a devout member of the faith and

- Baelish returning to KL (wtf, I don't even ... I'm interested to see, where this is going).

Again, thanks for all the info.

Maybe Cersei will manipulate Tommen in order to get Loras arrested. Maybe Tommen will have to tell that Loras molested him.

Apparently the Faith Militant will turn into that extremity of hypocrite inquisition where sexuality will be the ultimate sin and homosexuality a crime punishable by death. But maybe the story needs even stronger stuff, like an evil wrong accusation of having sexually approached the young king.

Just crackpot.

I feel like Tommen falsely accusing Loras of molestation or anything similar would be too much even for this show lmao

I kind of wonder if show!Cersei will end up telling show!Tommen that Jaime is his father since show!Tommen is old enough to understand and may confront show!Cersei about people calling him "bastard" and "abomination".

It would be a cool parallel since Jaime may end up telling Myrcella that he's her father in Dorne.
