  1. WTF, FTW??! You didn't go down like that! Ghost is supposed to be in the general area of CASTLE BLACK and acting all stirbugs about the treachery in the air! Jon says his NAAAME! Not freaking Olly! Ugh. Dammit. Where are the wildlings? Where is Wun Wun? I ask you, WHERE IS THE DIREWOLF? So, is Stannis dead? What about that scene in the trailers with Margaery hugging on Tommen? What happened with that? Benjen and Syrio trolling? Well played, man, you got us good. So no Doran speech or conclusion of any kind? Just a poison kiss and some seriously embarrassing dialogue? Dumpster fire. Dany is supposed to be eating horse with Drogon. You know what the Mercy storyline needed? More sadistic pedophilia! No way I would have understood how much Trant sucked without it. AaaaaaaaNd, biggest troll of all, the episode title. No LSH...which deep down I knew wouldn't be coming, so now I can take my bruised, battered heart back to the books. Pros, I guess: Theon finally nutting up. Hall of faces, Jaqen. Myranda's stage left, high time. Stephen Dillane, always. Lena's tears at the end.
  2. I give it a 10. I just loved this episode and can't wait to see what's next. Highs: The fact that the battle didn't just follow Jon, it had the NW and wildlings in it together. I was skeptical about Karsi but they made her tough, human, and lovable in 20 minutes. I even got some feels when the Thenn leader went with Jon to get the glass and ended up sacrificing himself. The tension buildup with the dogs howling and the avalanche and wind, then the all too believable chaos that ensued when the wildlings are rushing the boats...goosebumps and chills. The staredown between Jon and the NK was epic. Finally Sansa knows about Bran and Rickon. Also it was a nice surprise to see her dressed and composed, even favoring a hairstyle we haven't seen since season 1. Arya stuff was pleasantly close to the books. Tyrion and Dany...I loved it even if it's a bootleg version of what we're in for in the books because damn if the Dinkles doesn't kill it. Cersei slurping water out of a puddle to the strains of TROC. Jorah just doesn't give up. Instead of going bitter and trying to hurt his Khaleesi (a la show!Shae) he finds new and more painful ways to get back in her good graces. Ramsay dropping "a feast for the crows". Lows: That we only had an hour of this awesomeness because next week it's back to Dorne.
  3. Don't know if this has been answered yet, but the thing Sansa picks up on the courtyard railing looked like a little awl to me. So she can either stab hard or twist slowly.
  4. Giving it 8. I liked it, I guess. I gave last ep a 7 and this one was a step up, but I still have a terrible taste in my mouth about Winterfell. Good: Stannis telling Mel to stfu. Winter is starting. Jorah dehelming! Cersei's comeuppance, so true to the books. Meh: Dany's bitchface resuming immediately upon seeing Jorah...please leave that face in season 4, Em. Tommen Bronn in da clink. !BOOBS! !Say I'm pretty! What did I just watch? Bad: Oh, hey Gho- LOL, just kidding, he's gone.
  5. Giving it a 7. I have no idea what is going on in Winterfell. I loved the wedding, beautifully shot, and the acting was wonderful, but wth? I don't know if this is good storytelling anymore now that they're in uncharted territory with Sansa. By the way, all three points were knocked off courtesy of the Sand Snakes. Terrible stuff. It's like a show crossover from USA network or something. Stupid matching costumes, stupid plans, lines, accents, performances. Get Jaime out of there! He's supposed to be taking names in the Riverlands!
  6. Giving it a 9. Loved all the cold northern coldness in this ep, I couldn't tear myself away for the first time since season 3. Meereen was even ok. Citadel/Oldtown shout! Show!Walda, such a doll! Jon, being manly and decisive! That pullback shot of Tyrion and Jorah on the coast, gorgeous. Very happy right now, especially compared to last week.
  7. It pains me to say 3. No way my Jon would have gotten that tempted by stupid Mel! Overall a clunky episode...such a letdown after last week. Hated Ellaria and the Sand Snakes. Grey Worm and Barristan deserved better deaths. Faith Militant storyline lacks the nuances of the books. Just...so sad right now. On the upside next week looks awesome.
  8. I thought it was taut...I had that familiar sense of GoT dread I'd been missing. I loved Kit Harington's performance tonight. The Wall stuff went fast but he brought it. 9.

Suddenly I have an ad banner at the top. I thought since I was a member I wouldn't get ads?
  10. I think book Osha says this I s where tbe wildlings were headed...or show Osha.
  11. 8/10! I was disappointed last week and now I'm totally stoked again! Highlights: Jaqen! Drogon scene was awesome, Dany's vulnerability is good to see again. Jon interacting with Stannis and finally being elected. Kit is doing so well this season, we even saw a smile. The music. Season 4 was pretty meh, but this year the score is back to being epic.
  12. I need to watch it again, but while I was totally stoked to have the show back, it failed to live up to my expectations. I get that everyone is in a state of shock over last season's developments, but I can only give it a five. Never thought I'd miss Arya, but there you go.
  13. Yes! In The Heart of the Sea will also have Joseph Mawle (Benjen) and Donald Sumpter (Maester Luwin).
  14. I was just going to post this! Poor Liam was given so little to do :(
