NFL Offseason 2019: Gettleman Browns all over the Giants

I just mean that if Arizona was willing to trade from 17 to 10, gave up whatever they did to do that, take Rosen at 10 and walk away from him one year later for another QB then I don't want him as my franchise QB. If Murray bis that legit the Giants should be offering everything they have to Arizona for the #1 pick. Or if Haskins is available you take him and make him your guy from the get go....but you're right, they probably won't draft a QB at 6, they'll probably go with O or D line

NFL Offseason 2019: Gettleman Browns all over the Giants

No way do I want Arizona's leftovers.... getting Rosen isn't great cause you gotta give up to get him. The Giants need to not move in the draft and take Haskins at 6 if he's available, if he's not just draft the best guy on your board and build the team up in draft. The Giants are projected to have 90-102mil in free cap space next season, so if you get Haskins at 6 and keep all your picks, AWESOME, if he's not available you're all in on 2020 draft.

NFL 2019 Super Bowl: the restless shade of Mike Martz

I'm more in line with ownership forcing Gettleman to sign OBJ last year to that contract and then Gettleman saying this year "I told you so" to the owners..... otherwise it makes absolutely zero sense to sign him to that contract then trade him 10 months later...............also, important to note, how many of the best/elite receivers won SBs? Only 3(I think) of the top 10 receivers have won SBs

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

You're getting too caught up on the goalkeeper aspect of it, if LeBron grew up playing only soccer I have no doubt he'd be a professional soccer player, keeper or any other position. And again, getting back to being "most athletic," to me is about who can pick up sports and just excel at them. I'm American so I have only American sports to draw on and that's why I said guys like Bo Jackosn(NFL Pro-Bowler and MLB All-Star), Deion Sanders, Michael Jordan, Charlie Ward, we're guys I consider to be some of the most athletic athletes I've ever seen because they excelled at multiple professional sports. I threw LeBron out there because, like I said, I think he would have been a professional athlete of any sport he decided to play, because of his athletic gifts, determination, competitive nature and work ethic.

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

The thing is, he isn't just "more agile than other giants," and he isn't "very athletic for someone his size," he's just more agile than most athletes and more athletic, that simple, no caveat at the end

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

Sprinting short distances very fast doesn't equate to being super athletic

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

Well there's only 1 LeBron James..... comparing other 6'8 athletes to him is ridiculous

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

Drew Brees..... future HoF QB, letterman in 3 sports in HS, and tennis wasn't one of them, beat Andy Roddick a few times when they were young

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

I don't think anyone's trying to take away anything from cricket, but the athletic skills need for cricket are similar to American baseball and in America baseball players typically aren't our most athletic athletes, hence some American bias against cricket players' athleticism. Show me a professional cricket player that also played professional soccer or professional rugby and I'll say that he's a hell of an athlete

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

The rest of the world doesn't have to give a shit about our sports but it's undeniable that our sports do require the most athletic athletes I'll throw another one out there....Charlie Ward

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

LeBron was an all-state football player, if he went to college for football and got drafted I have no doubt he'd be a top TE or WR. Translate that to soccer, of he grew up playing soccer I have no doubt he'd be the best goalie in soccer. Golf, if he played that from a young instead of basketball I bet he'd be better than Tiger. LeBron is seriously a freak and more than that, like many of the GOATS, he has the drive and work ethic to be the best at any sport. Obviously I don't mean he could switch right now, I'm talking about if he played those sports from childhood, like he did with basketball.

Athletic Debate: Who Is The Greatest Of All Time?

Is this a GOAT debate or who's the most athletic debate?........ I'll go with most athletic; Jim Thorpe was a good one, dominant in multiple sports during his time. I'll add Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders, both freak athletes, Jordan's obviously another one. Today's athletes are easy, LeBron could play any professional sport and probably be the best, football, baseball, soccer, golf. OBJ, another freak athlete.
