I take it you haven't read Theon's preview chapter in The Winds of Winter. Stannis is alive and well in that chapter.

Don't you understand how storytelling works? Epic stare-off trumps logic every time.

you need a colossal suspension of disbelief if you are to accept that 20 men destroyed the siege engines, burned all the supplies of an army of 6000 and killed at least 100 hundred horses without any of them being spotted.

Because creatively it made sense because they wanted it to happen.

Stannis should just give up now and save himself the pain. What can he do against a man that can burn a 6000 strong army's siege weapons, food stores and that can kill at least a hundred horses and then escape without any of his 20 men even being seen?

This is SolidSnakeRamsbo and the 20 predators you're talking about. Burning the supplies was as easy as breathing for him and he probably did it with his shirt off. The reason he didn't kill Satannis is because he wants him to give Ramsbo a last good fight before he flays him alive.

So just because you liked does it mean that faster zombies wights are more dangerous? It had already been established in season 2 that the wights could only be killed by setting them on fire while in this episode we had wights which could be stopped by shooting arrows at their heads, wights which would keep going when half their head was gone and skyrim skeletons which didn't become a pile of bones after jumping off of that cliff. Also I don't remember the wights snarling like rabid dogs before this episode.
