Maybe she goes mad in the books aswell but it willl be very well explained and with plenty of page time to understand such a fall. Surely the show had to be 12 seasons long but with the directors quality of writing and lack of interest after so much time, it's better this way. Jon being revived just to be the same is something i don't believe grrm is going to do, the character will experience significant change because otherwise his death and revival is just that, pointless

What surprises me is the amount of people who thought these two would do a decent job, i don´t care for the show since the end of season 4, until then it was a decent homage to the books but from 5 to now it's a free for all. I ranted the treatment of Stannis in season 5 considering the book source by D&D not just because i like the character but because of the sheer stupidity, many were "meh it's not my favourite character nor a main one", well stupidity doesn't just leave and coupled with rushness to end the show and take other projects and vacations leads to this mess. It's a great comedic show i give them that, from the "give me 20 good men" to the "scorpion aim 150% in episode 4 to joystick malfunction in 5", i laughed my behind off

- being a bobby b fan is hardly a question i'm a fan precisely because the guy is with aegon i the most acomplished individual in history, i don't hate on any fictional characters just the drooling going on being so beyond me, rhaegar to me is just another guy killed 15 years before the start of the series, that's it - jon is still a bastard, and even a secret marriage is impossible to prove unless with some over the top unrealistic photo hologram to all lands - the royal house is house baratheon, and if dany changes it she's not going to hand it to a bastard - i don´t mind the fanboyism of it, just find strange, really Ned did A LOT more and would be a cooler father but, if people like this sort of cinderella stories of running away from a marriage more power to them... but i stand my groung, rhaegar didn't do much aside making 3 kids and getting one-shoted

The amount of drooling on r+l=j on the net this past months is beyond belief... how is rhaegar being jon's father great? the only feats of renown he had was singing on the streets, tanking a warhammer with his chest, and die... WOW amazing, truly the stuff of legends

I won´t even talk about Stannis, they killed him last week, and Myrcella knew about Jaime, and loved that he was her father... yeaaaaah another major show dump on the baratheon bros, keep on counting... Good news is, no more true baratheons, so they can't keep crapping on the house anymore

Almost one day has passed and my rage has cooled off, so i will say this as a calm but sad fan... I hope your favourite character doesn't do something that makes you feel there's no going back for either the character or the possibility of supporting another with the same passion... My favourite character at the beginning was Robert, because despite all his flaws i could cling to his happy, good-hearted younger self every time i had to remind myself of his fall from grace... Then, Stannis... i have a friend who's favourite is Jaime and in spite of the Bran issue, the child survived and the reason in jaime's head was to protect his family, like a lot of the lannisters who do terrible things... So i was prepared for Stannis to do some bad things but to always have a chance of redeeming himself, like a lot of fan favourite characters have... but burning Shireen, burning his daughter... as a fan it makes you feel sad because we know he's going to die, but the knife in the gut, is that he cannot have a redemption story, even if he saves Winterfell and thousands... why? because his daughter was the most purest person to me in this story, and his beacon... and she was burned alive by his command... Like Robert, i will support him until his death... but sadly unlike Robert, i won´t feel he will redeem himself and die in the good side of things... The man who was the last to eat Davos's food, gave it the same amount to every person and last to himself, did justice for the good and bad, liberated the Wall and the NW, made a flea bottom smugler a knight and hand because he saw merit and not rank, so many examples that made me feel i would say or do the exact same thing if i was there, the man who would think of renly until his very death... And then, lets the kindest of hearts die a horrible death both physically and mentaly because she knew he loved her, just not enough as she or i expected... Again, hope this won´t happen to the characters you love and follow... i'm a baratheon boy, and if they die.... i hope they can RIP Now... Party Time :lol:

I gave it a 2, because of the comedy quality... Aside from the laughter the writting provided me, i would give it a minus 10 but that's not an option... Rambo Ramsay and 20 seal team six... Dany's gucci dress on a docile dragon... stannis character assassination... jorah almost killed by nobodies then throwing a lance 100 meters away right in the heart of an assassin... Yeah, i've read better asoiaf fan fiction than this... but, that´s personal taste

We also have grrm say the stories will part ways... If you know GRRM will burn Shireen don´t tell just out of fear from the bashing you'll get from fans... Sansa, Jaime, Jon in Hardhome... things are different, so Shireen being burned with Stannis's permission might happen or not, but no, they were affraid of the backlash and told "george said this to us"... many knew Shireen would probably burn in the books, but with her father´s permission? (makes no sense since she is his only heir and he is in more danger than ever) D&D just said what grrm is going to do, deviations aside... that's spoiling with no reason, and some good time and writting aswell as a 360º character turn, will have to happen for this to ocur in the books (Stannis giving the order)

I swear, I will go to my grave thinking of my brother’s peach.” Yeah, seems like Stannis will think on renly's peach but not the daughter he will burn on the books by D&D's words And then what, "if i die, put my corpse on the IT or die in the attempt"... because now he must, at least, realise he does not have heirs and has more than one dangerous battle to fight... good logic indeed Stannis will be my 2 favourite character either way, because manure writting will not erase the majestic one until now in the books (if he burns her for no valid in-text reason)... show Stannis is fan fiction to me, especially as of now... he looks more crazy-eyes than the Others in Hardhome, and even Drogon looked like a docile Disney flying reptile who burns children, just not his own... at least the beast is on a redemptive path it seems, dany's dress was marvelous and that ride was, compared to the books, much better... IF you like ALADIN more than asoiaf

Speaking calmly before i laugh my ass off again... Some time will have to pass after the battle of winterfell and some great writting will have to appear so that Stannis burns his daughter in the books, truly some good writting or i'm seeing Jon becoming the ultimate villain and Mace tyrell getting the IT in the end... Search for all Stannis quotes and moments in the books and then see this episode, even if you don't like the character... it makes no sense as of now... again it's like Jon waking up of a coma in WOW and wanting to kill the living as a Night's King servant out of free will...

one thing is the show spoiling it, another is D&D saying George (the book guy) told them it was going to happen THIS WAY... grrm himself said it would deviate from now on... guess not, david and dan just told us the author told them what's going to happen (in the books obviously)

Yeah right, Martin told them Stannis burns Shireen in the books, so they are spoiling the books now? And George writing Stannis like... i have a duty to my daughter... no more burnings... if i die you will put my daughter on the throne... and all of a sudden he rides fast to Castle Black and shouts BURN HER, MUST BE DONE... That's going to be quite a challenge to make sense and top some fan fiction stories i've read Next Jon turns into an Other and brings the Long Night and Ned is revealed as the main villain after all by pulling all the strings...

Come see Ramsay "Solid Snake" Bolton and his 20 Delta Force good men destroying one of the greatest commanders and war minds by burning his stocks with surprise "out of his ass" fire... Come see Jorah "grey scale" Mormont almost die in a pit fighting nobodies, THEN throwing a lance 100 meters aways right in the heart of an assassin... Come see Dany in a Gucci dress riding a docile flying serpent who spits fire and saves the day with sweet music... And YES, come see the total, brutal assassination of a greatly written asoiaf character... the child burner, it's 1 - 1 between drogon and Demon Stannis on that one but it seems the dragon is going on a redemption road while the show writers most hated character suffers from biased fan fiction... HECK YEAH, tune in for the rest of the show... if you like horse manure

The Night's King or whatever he may call himself... when he confronts the Mannis, he'll go back to the far North like a 100m dash olympic medalist... because if he crosses the wall, he bends the knee or... else There´s a reason the Others did not invade when the Demon of the Trident was alive... FEAR, FEAR AND BLUUUD

When Stannis got the "thank you" from Jon and marched out of Castle Black to free Winterfell, i got a vibe that when he's gone i won´t really care who sits the IT in the end... Shireen or even Jon despite not seeing it fit story-wise for him in the books (but show? i can live with that)...
