  1. 10/10. Best episode in the entire show, just ahead of "Hardhome". Sapochnik will be missed next season...
  2. Most TV watchers love the show, they must be wrong. Most TV critics love the show, but hey, they must be wrong. Most people in this very site like the show at least (75% voted this episode 8 or above). I guess that the only people then who are right in the whole world are the 40-50 guys who bash the show every week in the RnR threads. Shame on us, the unwashed masses who dare to be entertained by a TV show!
  3. Yeah, and that's the reason because the ratings have been so low this season! Oh, wait...
  4. LOL, anyone giving this episode an 1/10 needs to seriously reevaluate some things in his life.
  5. Nice to see 86% of the voters giving the episode an 8 or above. Once again it proves that the "show is shit" crowd is just a very vocal minority.
  6. Do you really believe that Tyrion not meeting Daenerys in ADWD is a good cliffhanger? Or not showing the two battles that should have been the logical conclusion of the story arc is a good cliffhanger? Really? To me, AFFC/ADWD feels like a unfinished book. Pretty good, yes, but unfinished and frustrating.
  7. Do you realize that AFFC and ADWD's last chapters are FULL of cliffhangers too, right?
  8. I agree with that popularity does not equal quality. Personally, I think the season was very irregular. But the fact is that the show remains extremely popular, like it or not .
  9. Well, you might be right in that. The point is that there are less fans favorites around. It would be hurt the ratings? I don't know. But if Jon doesn't come back I certainly think it will.
  10. Believe what you want. Where are you sources for saying that ratings has been lower than Season 4? Oh, let me guess... You are talking out of your ass
  11. Oh, I can agree with that. Specially if Jon is truly dead or at least absent for Season 6. The show has already lost a lot of the most charismatic and popular characters (Tywin, Joffrey, The Hound, Oberyn, Stannis). People have less and less characters to root for, and I can certainly see the ratings declining if they don't bring some badass and charismatic characters for Season 6. Euron and Randyll could solve this, but the casting must be really good, because I suspect that the weight of a good part of Season 6 will rest in their shoulders.
  12. Well Euron and The Reach are pretty much confirmed for next season, so it's a good start!
  13. Sorry, but that's not true. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Game_of_Thrones_episodes Total live viewership for Season 4: 68, 4 millions (6.84 millions per episode) Total live viewership for Season 5: 68, 8 millions (6.88 millions per episode)
  14. Well, maybe somebody will come out here and say that HBO paid all that people to watch the show, you know?
  15. 8.1 millions... Yep, it seems pretty clear that people are losing interest, because... Oh, wait...
  16. I know a few of them, I Know, I Know, Oh, Oh... You know, the "I don't watch it anymore, but I'm here to talk about it every single week" bunch,,,,
  17. LOL, this poll is so Rotten Tomatoes now! Everyone is giving either an 1 or 10... I say it's a 9. Second best this season behind Hardhome... And to the people complaining about the cliffhangers, come on... The show already solved the Stannis/Bolton battle. There are far, far more cliffhangers in AFFC/ADWD. I just hope now that Kit Harington is lying and Jon Snow will be brought back to us... Jon can't stay dead at this point of the story. If he is so, it would be pretty lame storytelling and I really think that it could lead to a potential loss of interest from people in both the books and show.
  18. Good post, as always. I will give it myself 9/10. Certainly not as good than Hardhome (pretty hard to top it, I don't think that even next week season finale will do it), and it was, probably, the weakest of the "episode 9 event" in the series so far. But it was great TV, and The Pit scene was pure magic.
  19. That's great news! Sapochnik totally deserved it. Thank you, mate.
  20. Me too! I'm glad someone else has noticed that shot. Frankly, Miguel Sapochnik's direction was absolutely top notch. I really hope he will be back next season.
  21. Did you even watched the episode? Because I seem to remember that, two weeks ago, you swore never watch the show again. Never. So either you changed your mind and you are, after all, watching this horrible show made by these "assholes" (as you name them), or you are criticizing something that you have not even seen, which would be pretty stupid, IMHO...
