  1. I wouldn't really call the depiction of the dwarves in RoP excellent. It's much less egregious than the other stuff, but Durin IV is too often the butt of the joke with how in all of their previous adventures Elrond was the one who saved him and did the heroic stuff. Even his justified anger at Elrond for not keeping in touch gets dismissed as a temper tantrum. The accent also doesn't help. And then there is the utterly un-Tolkienian rock-smashing contest, which Durin also only won because Elrond chose to let him (which is implied I think).
  2. A budget issue I suspect. Still RoP had Galadriel getting hit in the face by a wave of hot ash and air and not even getting slightly singed.
  3. To get back a bit more on-topic to the Amazonian abomination (It was mentioned a few pages ago): https://fellowshipoffans.com/news/gavi-singh-chera-is-original-form-sauron-in-the-rings-of-power-season-2/ Why? What's the point? And what does that mean for "Halbrand"? I seriously wonder if the writers actually have a plan for the series. Why make it so that the best Rings of Power are forged in 30 minutes of the very last episode with minimal involvement of "Halbrand" instead of keeping him in Eregion for season 2 and doing it there?
  4. Isn't Shady Sands supposed to be the capitol of the NCR? I really hope that Todd wasn't petty enough to kill off the NCR just to stick it to people preferring the Black Isle/Obsidian entries over Bethesda's. The show looks good, but such disregard for other peoples' work would sour me forever. It's already unfortunate that they went with the East Coast Fallout 4 aesthetics.
  5. The comparison to Mass Effect 3 and GoT is deeply unfair I think. The main purpose of Cyberpunk 2077's story was never to find a cure, it was how V would deal with their inevitable death. Your actions during the story line determine what approaches are open to you.
  6. It decided that it would be too complicated otherwise
  7. Isn't Arasaka screwed in every ending but Devil? The only other major aside from V's fate is the status of Mikoshi, where it isn't clear what happened to it in the Tower ending. So as long as the devil is treated non-canon, I think you could make a sequel to 2077 with Arasaka still being a diminished role.
  8. Apparently (according to the mod page for the fix) the skill rewards have finally been fixed even though it's not in the notes. My hope is that they also did something to increase the drop rates of those cyberware capacity shards and I'm content. Yes. This is probably just something we are going to have to get used to.
  9. Level 15, Street Creed 15, some green cyberware and weapons, a 4,9,9,9,4 attribute spread, some basic perks selected, one free attribute and perk point, skills all at level 10. Surprisingly weak all things considered. Only 3 quests in your log (the start of Takemura's route, the Tarot one and the starting quest for PL). Johnny gives a very short explanation of your general situation on the initial loading screen. Lifepath does not play any role except for the clothes you get. All in all it appears to be designed for people who have already played most of the main game before and want to play only the DLC with a character that can do a bit of shooting and hacking. Definitely not for new players (or at a realistic level for someone who would have played the game normally).
  10. You absolutely can play a good DU (and I'd argue that it is more satisfying story-wise than an evil DU). However the connection to BG1 and BG2 is minimal. What it does improve are your interactions with one of the game's major antagonists.
  11. A build planner for 2.0 is also online - Every attribute has perks for vehicle utility: Strength lets you better ram enemies, Reflexes improves your shooting and lets you quickly exit vehicles, Intelligence allows hacks, Tech improves vehicle health and damage, Cool lets you use the Sandevistan and Ketenzikov while driving - Smart weapons have perks in the Intelligence tree - Tech has lost all but one perk for crafting, but gained perks for cyberware - Handguns, Precision and Sniper Rifles have been moved to Cool; Cold Blood is gone
  12. Question to those who played Starfield: Are there any settled planets with unusual features to which the settlers had to adapt in an interesting way? Like a planet with extreme weather conditions where the settlements are build to withstand or take advantage of them? And somewhat related: Can you see where the people get their food from?
  13. Well no. Even if Larian wanted to fix the quest, it would take a lot longer.
