  1. Rudy Mugshot: https://news.yahoo.com/news/heres-rudy-giulianis-mugshot-said-205453541.html
  2. It's kind of funny that most candidates on that stage have even less fans than the guy they wanted to hang...
  3. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he was allowed to mail these measurements in, just like his mugshot.
  4. No new politics thread? I wish I had a better title, but here we are. Previous guy has already broken his bond constrictions on social media. I'm sure they'll put him in the slammer until trial. /s
  5. No, no! Nobody is above the law! I don't think that's the reason though. There's more brownshirt danger when he's free and happily threatening and inciting...
  6. Ken Chesebro at the Capitol with Alex Jones during the jan6 attack wearing, [sic] destroying any argument that he was just an attorney who came up with the fake elector fraudulent scheme. I bet Jack Smith is watching...
  7. I know. Also, a couple of working class women going there with their private plane.
  8. As that Richmond song was discussed here, Seth Staton watkins made a song in response. I first found him because he has a great version of "Come Out Ye Black & Tans." Worth checking out. My favorite comment so far: ... "Rise proletariat, and make them cower" I mean they did, a giant group of the poor, working people did rise up and try to make the government cower, it was called January 6th. I think what they did was wrong, oddly so does almost the entire left but it's hard to see why when this sort of thing is all you ever talk about.
  9. I actually think he might do fine in a "real" prison environment. That's not to say they shouldn't jail him - of course they should. He'd have money (yes, he'd find a way) or drugs or whatever is needed to buy himself some protection/ lieutenants. He'd have outside folk put money on prisoners' accounts for inside favors, and so on. And I doubt many prisoners would hate him for being TFG. He's been a mobster all his life, if he manages not to panic too much, he'll be fine. Then again, I also believe he'll take a plea deal (if offered) if there was really no other way to avoid prison. Which probably won't be the case anyway...
  10. LOL. Trump lawyers seek April 2026 trial date in federal election subversion case In a court filing Thursday evening, Trump’s lawyers say the years-long delay is warranted because of the “massive” amount of information — prosecutors have already produced more than 11.5 million pages — they have to review and because of scheduling conflicts with the other criminal cases Trump is currently facing. https://apnews.com/article/trump-justice-department-january-6-special-counsel-b778596d6ce14408a5c9f3ec89a03b1f They have time to tour the cable networks and podcasts, so they have time to read the docs.
  11. Most legal eagles seem to think that Meadows has a real shot with his motion. Although it would still be about State Law, but with a "better" jury pool and no cameras in court.
  12. @ZorralDidn't Stone also openly float the plan on Steve Bannon's show? Someone did, I seem to remember.
  13. @Varysblackfyre321 TYT has been on a... well, "centrist" is putting it mildly, in some respects... course. Wrt homelessness, crime, and now trans issues. And I've never been impressed with Burgis, although I really tried because he's an old friend of Sam Seder. If you want to know who Kasparian is right now, I strongly recommend watching the recent "Adam and Stitch" (?) show with her as a guest. Seriously. My highlight is probably her comment on Rittenhouse.
  14. Oh, and a judge got drawn for the Georgia case. He's the newest and youngest one of the bunch. McAfee was appointed to the court in February by the state's Republican Governor Brian Kemp, according to the court's website. McAfee is seeking election next year to retain his position as judge. 15. The names of the grand jurors who indicted Trump are now public. Who’s protecting them? UPDATE: Wednesday, Aug 16, 2023 · 10:20:43 PM · Hunter It’s started: NBC News now reports that a list of grand juror addresses has already been published to an unnamed “fringe website.” The Washington Post reports that Trump’s oozing base is already contemplating revenge against the grand jurors. On Tuesday, photos of "at least two" jurors were posted online and members of "pro-Trump extremist forums” (I suspect we all know which ones) were arguing with each other over whether "people need to be outside these peoples houses" or whether that would be walking into a deep state and media trap. In practice, the arguments are irrelevant... such violence tends to be carried out by lone extremists who do not particularly care whether the rest of their movement argues about their violence in random online forums. The Post has Pete Skandalakis, executive director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, giving an extremely awkward quote that comes real damn close to identifying the problem without actually doing it: “[Grand jurors] typically issue the indictments and go about their business,” Skandalakis said. “I’ve indicted gang cases in which people are concerned for their safety, and I think that’s probably what happened here.” https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/8/16/2187627/-The-names-of-the-grand-jurors-who-indicted-Trump-are-now-public-Who-s-protecting-them No kidding, Sherlock! Texas woman accused of threatening to kill judge overseeing Trump election case and a congresswoman Abigail Jo Shry of Alvin, Texas, called the federal courthouse in Washington and left the threatening message — using a racist term for U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan — on Aug. 5, court records show. Investigators traced her phone number and she later admitted to making the threatening call, according to a criminal complaint. In the call, Shry told the judge, who is overseeing the election conspiracy case against Trump, “You are in our sights, we want to kill you,” the documents said. Prosecutors allege Shry also said, “If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you,” and she threatened to kill U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat running for mayor of Houston, according to court documents. A judge earlier this week ordered Shry jailed. https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-tanya-chutkan-judge-threats-texas-7d90ad3c8b552b49e269a3f842a6700c
  16. Btw, the indictment listed all the names of the Grand Jurors, which is normal in NY but could have been omitted due to unusual circumstances... Nothing to worry about, I'm sure.
  17. Look, I'm as giddy of the thought of him in prison as anyone, but I think it's possible that even if he is convicted, it'll just be a confinement to his residence bc "how could we possibly protect him in jail?!" (So we won't even try to figure it out and nvm that we have prison facilities on military bases etc.) Plus I still wouldn't rule out even Biden pardoning him, let alone any Republican president. As far as state charges... Thanks to the new law, Willis could be removed any time for her raging "far-left marxist" activities. I just want to spare us the disappoitnment.
  18. I specifically wrote I know it's not Fulton in the song. Idc.
  19. OMG, I totally need a TFG video of his arraignment, mugshot etc to the music of Fulton Prison Blues! (Why yes, I'm simple folk. I know it's not Fulton in the song but...) As for Meadows, moving his case to federal court might also rid him of the indictments entirely, as explained in the video above. (I'm already fuzzy on the details.)
  20. My new mystery show looks promising after episode 1. Some people would probably find it to slow. Sherwood - a murder apparently connected to the miners' strikes 30 years ago, and apparently lots of buried secrets involving scabs and alleged arsonists having been let go by the police.
  21. And a more friendly/ white jury pool in federal court? (Once it's federal, you demand to move it to West Virginia bc DC is so prejudiced and 'WV is far more diverse.) ETA: Sounds like Meadows will probably get out of this:
