Yeah, absolutely. It just makes me determined to get my book to the right audience - the folk who have a similar sense of humour seem to love it. On the other hand, a 60+ year old church elder who's a neighbour of my mum's got wind, downloaded it and hated it. I just need to make sure it gets in the right hands!

I appreciate if a book just doesn't click for you, it's hard to keep going, but I wonder if you would have enjoyed it more if you had read more than a fifth? Released my first book a couple of months ago, reaction to date has been very positive so figured some folks here might check it out. It's all about growing up in Scotland in the 1990s, though what's been pleasing for me is how many folk have commented that many of the stories rang true for them despite growing up in England, or Ireland, or the 70s... Thought Jon beheading Janos was one of the highlights of the show so far. Was brilliantly done.

Been enjoying the season well enough so far but definitely been one of the slower periods of the show.
