Crown of Winter Roses

A lot of us are wondering why Summer died since it seemed so pointless. It makes more sense metaphorically, the white walkers are finally marching south so summer died because winter is coming. Whether that's what they intended, I don't know but I think it gives it a little more meaning that way.

I agree that both Tyrion and Jorah will assume the barristan role. Holding things together until daenerys gets back. I think that whatever happens in the pit will redeem him enough so that he can come back for good. The hand fixing would be nice but I doubt would actually happen. But it's an interesting theory to consider.

The way I see it is that it's his only chance to see her again. He had this whole plan to get back into her good graces by bringing her "a gift" I bet he saw it playing out in his head that she would forgive him and take him back. So after getting kicked out AGAIN he pretty much realized that nothing that he does will make a difference. Add to that the fact that he's dying from greyscale, and in his mind one last chance to see her again and be in the presence of the woman he loves is probably worth spending the rest of his life as a slave since either way he'll be miserable without her.

the shot of the walkers at the top of the hill was pretty interesting. The four walkers on horseback looked like the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I wonder if this was just a coincidence or on purpose?
