    [Book Spoilers] EP510 Discussion

When does the Season 6 prediction (spoilers) thread start:-)

Haha...That makes perfect sense. I am over thinking what made Drogon fly where he did. I'm just stumped on what's going to happen if Dany heads to Vaes Dothrak.

Why did Drogon take Dany north? Why not take her to Valyria? Or is this the prophecy about north to south first and then east to west?

Oh trust me, I'm not hung up on snow drifts, a horse that a Red Priestess had on standby or space time continuums in a world where a man is only alive because tree roots are growing through him...lol. My biggest beef right now is that Ghost is missing.

C'mon! Mel left before the march. Do we really know how long it took to walk from the Stannis camp to Winterfell? Mel coulda had plenty of time to get back to CB before Stannis arrived at Winterfell and the battle was finally over. As for her having a horse, well, maybe she was part of organizing the desertion. She didn't want Stannis taking back Winterfell, she sees Jon Snow taking Winterfell. So she had a horse on standby knowing the deserters would take all the horses. As for the presumably large snow drift on the side of the wall, Mel simply missed a spot:-)

Agreed! I think too that Stannis was never the one Mel saw in her visions. It was always Jon. She just needed a royal blood sacrifice. Get Renly out of the way, convince Stannis he has to stop at nothing to defend the realm against the Other's and keep Jon close. I think her only missed vision is Jon being stabbed. Mel knew she'd never get near the Lannisters or Dany for a sacrifice, so Stannis being the true heir by default was easy pickings for her. Stannis and his family were just pawns in her plot.

Dead people popsicles, dragons, a house full of Zartans (G.I. Joe), a city full of Things (Fantastic Four), and Frankenknight all kinda throw logic out the window too:-)

I do agree that having Ghost mysteriously gone during the stabbing was frustrating to me too. Even if it's Mel or the Nights King to resurrect Jon, I felt Ghost should've been somewhere in the scene. Leashed up by the NW or something. I truly believe Ghost will be there come the return to that scene next spring. But why leave Ghost out at Jon's stabbing? Give me something to hang my hat on DD...geez!

I get the impression that some people here think they have wargged into GRRM's desk cactus and were able to see what book 6 entails. I understand arguing what's the differences of the show and already released book material are. But I see a lot of folks speculated the future of this story and using their speculation as fact. The Riverlands and LSH omission are probably my biggest difference disappointment thus far. Going forward, it'll be interesting. KL is completely vulnerable. Lannisters hanging on by a thread, Martell's a mystery, Boltons sitting ducks for the Other's/Bran and Jon, LF and Greyjoys stuck running to whoever they think is going win, and Dany with a new army of Dothraki. I can't see this ending in two seasons of 10 episodes a piece.
