  1. Here's a reminder for people who think history only started in 1967: .1929 Hebron massacre
  2. This was not an act of desperation. Antisemitism and hatred towards Jews is indoctrinated to them from a very young age, and it's been that way before 1967 and before 1948 and before the 19th century. This is not an effect of the conflict but a cause. People who live in Europe and North America just don't understand the mentality of the Middle East and you never will. Reading comments such as "what does Hamas hope to gain with posting videos of murdering innocents, parading their bodies, abducting women and children? They'll lose Western support!" just shows how much you're ignorant in these matters - they don't care about you, they despise all of you and your values.
  3. The Rings of Power is not nominated for an Emmy for best Drama Series. The nominees are: “Andor” “Better Call Saul” “The Crown” “House of the Dragon” “The Last of Us” “Succession” “The White Lotus” “Yellowjackets”
  4. Amazon used A.I. to write The Rings of Power and it went through cyberspace and found his work on the Kindle store.
  5. ‘Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power’ Team Talk Crafting The Look & Sound Of The Second Age, Tease Season 2 https://deadline.com/2023/04/lord-of-the-rings-the-rings-of-power-interview-sophia-nomvete-contenders-tv-1235326401/
  6. So does it mean that the show about Aegon's Conquest isn't happening? I prefer it that way to be honest.
  7. I don't know how much people would have patience getting one piece of Targaryen history after another. I know there are people who want to have a show about Jaehaerys' family drama but that would just bore people in my opinion. Aegon's conquest is not that interesting beyond a background exposition too in my opinion.
  8. If this was a Netflix show, it would have been cancelled.
  9. Great, another article who paints every Israeli as evil, even the ones who oppose Netanyahu and his far right government and support a two state solution. In addition, it also fails to mention the terror attacks committed by Palestinians, or the fact that most of Palestinians that were killed were part of either The Lion's Den, PIJ or Hamas, all are terrorist organizations who planned to commit attacks on Israeli civilians. As for your other question: https://youtu.be/oXpTBt2iNbg
  10. Didn't Villeneuve say that he only wanted to adapt Dune and Dune Messiah as a trilogy?
  11. GRRM never promised it every year. The only time he promised anything was back in 2015, and made a lengthy post explaining why it didn't happen.
  12. I agree. It feels very much the same as classic stories like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan or Pinocchio.
  13. Do you think The Winds of Winter will be published before the 20th Anniversary Edition of A Feast for Crows?
  14. He didn't write this episode. People were misinformed.
  15. When it comes to adaptations, my opinion is that it's not that changes are bad, it's how those changes are implemented, and as much as this show had blunders (like the ending of episodes 3,5 and 9), nothing was as terrible as Tyrion's introduction scene (in the book we first meet him at the library, in the show he's all about the whores), Littlefinger's sexposition scene or "making the 8". All of them were just from first season and were a red flag for what's to come.
  16. Does anyone plan to get 'The Fall of Númenor: And Other Tales from the Second Age of Middle-earth'? Will it have new information or just material from previous books?
  17. I think there's a difference (in Rhaenys' mind) between casualties of low born commoners while trying to escape vs outright becoming a kinslayer.
  18. He said he wanted to do Dune Messiah if Warner/Legendary let him.
  19. Do you think Villeneuve will make Children of Dune?
  20. I didn't say he would object. On the contrary. It's his and Rhaenyra's decision to make, not Rhaenys. With all due respect to House Velaryon, Baela and Rhaena are still Targaryen Princesses. The Lady of Driftmark should not have any say in this matter. Rhaenyra might show her some courtesy, but in the end both Rhaenyra and Daemon can veto whatever objection Rhaenys has.
  21. Does Rhaenys really have an authority to accept or reject marriage offers for Baela and Rhaena? Daemon is their father, shouldn't he be the one to the decide whom they marry?
