  1. The menu of first names is limited. Look how often the name “ Walder” and “Jon” are used. The only clue we get from names are the bastards and where they were born. It only applies for last names for those who have it.
  2. Khal Drogo provided the King’s Blood needed to bring the dragons back. He’s the Nissa Nissa to Dany’s Azor Ahai. He was a fierce warrior and so the three dragons will carry that trait into battle.
  3. Ghost is the future body of Jon Snow. The king of wolves. The alpha of the pack of wolves. His human form dies from the dagger wounds.
  4. Sellswords are freelance. Good ones can make more gold on their own. Household knights serve the needs of most houses well enough.
  5. The Daynes probably branched off of the Pearl Emperor. Azor Ahai is Dany but it doesn’t mean she will strike the fatal blow that kills Dark Bran Stark and bring the light back to Westeros. A Dayne subject could do that. Dayne and Stark get their rematch and the outcome won’t be the same as it was in the tower of joy.
  6. That’s just an awful ending. Robb and the Tullys forced Walder to make a decision when they marched an army to his gate. Walder gave Robb a better deal than that Stark boy deserved. Robb repays by betraying and insulting the Freys. The Starks should admit Robb’s guilt and forgive the Freys.
  7. “A death that was more than death. Howling forever in the darkness.” I don’t think this is about becoming Dosh Khaleen. DK isn’t exactly bad because of the power the crones have over the Dothraki. It’s an interesting line. It’s full of meaning. The most intriguing word is “forever”. Is this the fate of the ghosts in the hallway? They didn’t run fast enough and darkness took them?
  8. The reason to plan the love triangle was to make Arya the teason for Jon to violate his oaths and fail Westeros. George found another way to accomplish that through Arya but without the triangle. Jon’s bond with Arya was the cause for him to betray the watch. The fall out will be really bad.
  9. I disagree. The Lord Commander’s job is a neutral office bound to the Night’s Watch. Assuming the monarch is willing to do something extremely unpopular and proceeds anyway. I think the monarch and the lord commander will be facing a lot of resistance. Bloodraven in his time had loyal political followers but even his appointment would face a lot of resistance. A Targaryen monarch would be advised not to do it. A stained lord commander like Jon would make it much more difficult.
  10. Real life lions are much larger and stronger than wolves. The direwolf is bigger, stronger than a normal wolf. The fight will be closer to fair but it seems to me that a lion still holds the advantage. The battle will be interesting. The family symbols are the power rankings of the ruling class. The lions are stronger than the direwolves and won the feud. The direwolves are still breathing and may battle the lions one final time. The krakens are second in strength only to the great Dragons. It needed the power of Balerion to destroy the wicked house of black Harren. The Frey towers are strongholds but may also indicate the power of that family in the great game of thrones. The Starks may try to assault the castle and fail.
  11. The North will resort to cannibalism. It has begun with Bran and Wayman. Wayman is not getting away with that horrible deed. Arya is losing her sanity and will lose more of what little is left of moral inhibitions.
  12. Ned and Robert. The Magister hired Jaquen to remove the impediments to a Targaryen return.
  13. That does seem to predict something bad for Rhaegar’s child, whether Aegon or Jon. Though I think those meatheads are not his.
  14. Shapeshifting as in changing her body? That is not likely. Possession of another animal, like a primitive direwolf, is an endgame for Arya after she finishes her horrible list and loses more of her sanity. Arya’s physical body dies but what’s left of her mind finds a place in her wolf.
  15. It’s a fair description of what happened.
  16. Cat would have stayed dead. The dead should stay dead. Cat killed Aegon Frey and they killed her for it. It was even. She then comes back and starts killing more. Her sins increase and so does her punishment. It should be the same for Arya.
  17. Or die very young. Arya’s mental illness is in its early stages and if she dies in the Riverlands before she can get back to Winterfell she may be spared what happened to Cat and Lysa.
  18. Best be ready for when Jon Snow gets brought back by the White Walkers. Get rid of Ghost.
  19. Robb broke an oath. That is the mitigating factor. He is the son of the man who was executed for treason.
  20. Some of the Freys will get punished but most should not. Robb rebelled and threatened to break apart the kingdom. Walder’s brutal takedown of the Starks was a public service to hold Westeros together. History might see it in a more objective view.
  21. The Rickster and his wolf are dangerous too. Rickon will be a wild cannibal if what we know about the people of Skagos is true.
  22. Rhaegar was foolish in battle but in romance? Not likely. Lyanna’s lover was Mance Rayder or Brandon Stark.
