      Hi @Walda This was news to me (about the comic books) because I thought they worked straight from the books, but I guess not? Your point about the descriptions on castles, etc got me to search a little further, and I found this...

      I guess only some of the artwork, or some artists, are considered canon works. I know the artist Amok worked closely with George when he was creating the profile pics for the characters that are shown in the wiki.

      I think the other stories PatQ and Rogue Prince are canon along with the D&E stories (which I love), as they already are mentioned in the main book series and the accounts of what happened. I do believe George agreed that the world book is semi-canon because it is purposely written with a few errors and purposeful Lannister leanings. And, this blog question was answered two years before the world book came out. I have seen lots of questions about the games and how game fans want the Foresters family in the books ^_^ That would be kinda cool for me because Dywen is a "forester" of a different type, and he is subtly important to Jon, and I really like Dywen.

      I had no idea, actually. I thought George was working close with the artists/writers on the comics to keep them canon... but I guess not?
