If you look at Tyrion’s second chapter it starts with cliffhanger with Dany.  It makes me think that Tyrion’s POV chapters start with him either already having arrived in Mereen or just having arrived in Mereen.

As I said in OP, the outline only covers yet unwritten contents. 1, 2, 3, 4 means he had planned 4 upcoming chapters and then decided to only include 2 in FEAST. 5-2=3, so he already finished 3 Tyrion chapters by then, and each can be identified from gsteff's spreadsheet.

  2. It seems HBO does make distinction between series order and limit series order: https://deadline.com/pilot/2020-hbo-pilots-series-orders/ https://deadline.com/pilot/2022-hbo-pilots-series-orders/ and this is announced as series.

I think maybe they want to adopt the way of the comic books, use THK I, II, II for the three stories, and save AKotSK for later stories.

And interesting to note HBO now usually do straight to series instead of pilot.

So, definitively: Maegor had no children even in the very oldest family tree. Also, Alyssa Velaryon was originally named Vala Velaryon, but Alysanne still had her name. By the second version of the tree from 2010 or 2012 or some date like that, she was named Alyssa.

This settles the issue, thank you!

It seems GRRM had wanted a more Valyrian name for the Velaryons.

The next episode preview, it seems like Laena is flying on a humungous dragon, could be Vhagar

Yes, that's why I said she's not a dragonrider in EP5. She must claimed her in the 11 year time jump. Therefore they didn't cut the scene "Laena claimed Vhagar" in EP2. They never shot that scene.

That - or they just didn't show her. After all, they also didn't really show that Rhaenys was riding the larger dragon who seems to be Meleys, so who knows, really?

There is zero hint of Vhagar in ep5. If she had Vhagar, one would expect they talked of it in her scene, and three dragons on screen.

If you compare the full leak with the reddit leak, you can find the latter is a very brief summary of the former, plus a few more tidbit: Mysaria pregnant, Laena claimed Vhagar, green is war banners, Joffrey tells Criston about moon tea... None of them appears in the show. These are deliberately added fake info, and I happen to know who added them.

Is the Laena-Vhagar thing really fake info and not rather something that was cut? They did establish Laena's interest in Vhagar, and while it is technically possible that this was simply done to establish that she would be her rider later ... the whole stuff about Vhagar not being in the Dragonpit but, apparently, either on or close to Driftmark certainly seems to indicate that a scene where young Laena claims Vhagar was to follow. Episode 2 is the shortest episode we got, and it makes sense that such a scene was supposed to take place at the end with Alicent's pre-marriage dressing which was also cut. A mirror depiction of the chosen queen and the spurned queen ... with the latter getting the largest dragon instead.

In ep5 apparently Laena isn't a dragonrider yet, elsewise they'd let 3 dragons flew to KL.

  7. My headcanon is the horse reared because Rhea's cousin planned to kill her in this hunt and did some tricks on the bow, like a string connecting to a blade which would cut the horse when it was pulled. Daemon seemed to want to pull the horse when it reared. And he initially didn't want to kill Rhea, a fool 's choice if the horse reared because of him.

The freefolk leak is mostly correct but also has some fake info, like Alicent-Criston love and Laena claiming Vhagar. And they didn't shoot Viserys-Alicent wedding, only the pre-wedding scene when Rhaenyra quarreled with Alicent and then silently helped her into her bridal gown.

  8. Per Doug Wheatley:

George told me in his notes that he had no description of Gyldayn except that he was old, precise, persnickety and opinionated. He also said that he did not want Gyldayn to look like him. The funny thing about these notes, I misread them the first time. I thought I read that George wanted Gyldayn to look like him, I got so excited about drawing George’s portrait I was jumping around my studio whooping and hollering. After I calmed down and read the directions again, I was like….oh, he shouldn’t look like George….right, of course. Lol!

The rest seems to have no source and probably should be removed.

  10. Yeah it's still unchanged in the latest e-edition. The skull could either from old Valyria or even found in Westeros. GRRM settled the issue back in 1999:

    Quote

In 'The Hedge Knight' ancient dragons are mentioned, thousands of years olds. Were there Dragons in Westeros before the Targaryens brought them, or did the Targaryens bring the skeletons of the old Dragons with them?

There were dragons all over, once.

I recently posted a list on the r/pureasoiaf Discord server of what projects George is working on or involved with. Can some please check that I haven't forgotten something or got something wrong?

Sandkings is a movie directed by Gore Verbinski. We don't know who's developing Tuf Voyaging TV. There're also Tuf Voyaging comic by Raya, NIGHT OF THE COOTERS and other short films, pitches of other fantasy TVs, theater, book shop, stage coach, writing class, Meow Wolf, railroad, library tower, etc.

That was half the fun. My personal favorite example of this was how Rhaena comes off in the World Book and "Sons of the Dragon" vs. what she's revealed as in Fire & Blood. In the abbreviated works she seems like just another one of Martin's sad widows, but then you get the curveball and she turns out to be (in my opinion) one of the coolest and most interesting characters in all of F&B.

Rhaena materials are not deleted from the world book/TSotD. GRRM apparently had better concept of her in c.2017-8.
