    Small Questions v. 10105

What is the consensus on how Melisandre lit the eagle on fire (simply the same magic as shadow babies?) and how Tyrion and the fAegon crew got turned around in the Sorrows? These minor magics throw me off

    Targaryen Morality

We definitely see individual Targs the most of any house in history. Dunk and Egg, Princess and the Queen, Fire and Blood, the World Book. In the Hedge Knight we see Breakspear and Brightflame. A perfect contradiction of how good or bad a Targaryen can be. I think that is the point. When there was competent ruler or ruling couple, Westeros ran very well. When they didn't or had a generation of poor rulers before somebody with ability it was difficult for them. They are one of the most Grey(or whatever red/black makes) families but because of the power they possessed both their best and their worst are remembered and judged.

Which prince's gauntlet did Maester Walgrave have which contained Pate's stolen key?

    Small Questions v. 10105

Has it been theorized that Ned Stark went to Starfall to pick up a second nephew(or niece) ? Was he trying to gather the heirs of his sister and brother but Ashara had a still-born of bran dons and then Ned delivered Dawn and then was just his honorable self trying to console another grieving family, the Daynes?

So was Jaime's pride the only thing that kept him from explaining to Ned how much he hated what happened to Brandon and he ultimately decided to make up with it by killing Aerys? I feel like Ned would have been able to understand a teenage kings guard who didn't know what he was getting into a year before at a tourney that really affected them all.

Rereading a dance with dragons and was just wondering if there were any theories out there regarding "The Knight from the Stormlands who wore the favor of Rhaella (Dany's mom) and then retired and became pious when she married Aerys"? Seems like limited info but just found it interesting if they may still be around.

    Small Questions v. 10105

Are there any hints to what specifically brought the Plague "Great Spring Sickness" to Westeros? Rats and people dying in the primary port cities. I haven't heard a source.

    Small Questions v. 10105

Is there any point in Jaime's reflections on Ned and Arthur that blames or thinks negatively towards Ned for killing his idol? Or simply because of the interaction in the throne room after Aerys' murder? Maybe Jaime doesn't know ToJ details but you would think he would have known some details about where Arthur, Gerold and Whent went or why they never returned alive.

    [TWoW Spoilers] Aeron I (Balticon)

First read through: Notice the Quentyn reference of one of Aerons first captive companions is burned, alive for 3 days and eyes moving? I got a weird vibe that Cersei is the pale queen that Euron teams up with. They seem like they might climb high together before their eventual downfall. I know he is waiting for Dany but it seems like he would take advantage of Cersei if he can and has no clue what is going on with Victarion. He would just remove her if Dany showed up with a dragon for him. Maybe he helps Cersei vs Aegon? Is the rusted hinge the sound of his door at Pyke opening whenever Euron came to visit? Aeron being forced to drink shade of the evening is unfortunately similar to other forceful things he has had done to him....Euron is the new surefire antagonist

    [Spoilers] EP606

So did Margery just screw up? Last week she seemed in control. She just simply didn't know the cavalry was coming and thought the best way to get out of her walk was to side with the High Sparrow? Or is she really pious now? I think she was just full of it and Tommen is gullible and it backfired.

    Small Questions v. 10105

What seat was planned for Trystane/Myrcella had all gone well for Martell/Lannister? Or was Doran always going to remove Myrcella somehow if Quentyn/Dany or Arianne/Aegon worked out and find something else for Trystane? I guess if Quent is dead and Aegon is King in Kingslanding with Arianne then Trystane gets Sunspear but that is a lot to expect (even though it may be the case...for a minute or two).

    Small Questions v. 10105

Why don't the Martell's hate Rhaegar? Has this been discussed? He abandoned their princess and her children, took 3 Kingsguard away from them who could have potentially helped defend the royal family in King's Landing and essentially left her for another woman. I understand Aerys kept them for fear of Martell and/or Rhaegar schemes but Rhaegar had enough control over Kingsguard and people at court that he could have done much and more to defend his family before departing for the Trident. In Jaime's dream he says something along the lines of "I left you to defend my wife and children"...Man, Rhaegar stfu you abandoned them and caused the downfall of your family's rule almost as much as your dad did. You expect the 16 year old member of the KG to stop an army after you lost the war? I all of sudden hate Rhaegar as character a few rereads and new Dornish twow chapter. You deserved a war hammer to the chest.

[twow Spoilers] Arianne II, Part 2

I am pretty convinced that Margery has already been found innocent as Brynden Bfish and other have suggested. There was no real evidence against her after the Kettleblack interrogation. I think Elia has some sort or mission given to her by Doran, much like her other sisters. Arianne could not figure out why her father had given her Elia for this quest. It seems odd that Doran would unnecessarily endanger a young niece if not with a plan. Problem is I don't know what this plan could be. Does anyone else think that had the crew ventured a bit deeper down into the cave they may have found a room full of sleeping children?? They may be extinct(or sleeping deeply down in some white roots) in the south, and the cave may have been used too commonly by travelers between Mistwood/Griffs Roost but it just seems like those caves go much much deeper than anyone would dare travel.
