Fabo H'ghar Targaryen

Wow, cool to start in this forum. Huge ASOIAF?GOT fan...watched the first 3 seasons first and then read all the books Definitely a bigger fan of ASOIAF than the show GOT but both are fuckin brilliant! I look forward to chiming in on topics and discussions. I chose the display name Fabo H'ghar Targaryen obviously cuz Jaqen Hghar is such an awesome character and THE BADASS in the world of ASOIAF/GOT.....then I am such a strong believer in R+L=J and I feel that Rhaegar is the most mysterious and intriguing character in all of ASOIAF and all of the amazing theories and just overall storylines that evolve around him make him the best character that we only know through other people.

One quick breakdown of the books and the show. The first 3 seasons to me were very true to the books for the most part, especially season 1, I mean that season was so cool cuz it was doing word for word shit from the books and the things they tweaked were if not as good but better. Season 2 was also so cool because it evolve heavily around the books storylines and the things they changed were most of the time for the better or not a big enough change to ruin anything. To me season 2 is in the discussion for best seasons with Tyrion's role as the Hand and the battle at black water at the end, or Arya linking up with Jaqen which to me is one of the best storylines in the book/show since Jaqen H'ghar is such a fuckin badass and to me Arya has one of the best journey's out of anyone. Also Dany dealing with Qarth and pursuing her opportunities to obtain power is epic. But then there's season 3 which I personally think is the best season. It has so many great storyline for character development like Jaime with the Brave Companions and dealing with his mojo which is his sword fighting hand. That season Jaime won a lot of the fans over and almost made us forget about Bran through all the good deeds he did for Brienne. Plus there was Tyrion dealing with Tywin being back in his presence and stepping down from being the Kings Hand, which he was AMAZING at! Then there's Robb Stark's epic but very very tragic pursuit to take down the Lannister's, and he is killing it throughout the season but then we all know what happens. The Red Wedding may be the most shocking and dramatic scene in the history of not just television but cinema as well I mean that was so devastating and to me that's what makes GOT/ASOIAF such an ENORMOUS success. It's realistic and the happy fairy tale endings do not workout in this real world in medieval time. Si we then get to season 4 which is when the books started to really get out of the picture but to me season 4 had some of the best episodes of the entire running of the show. The season opening was one of the best episodes simply because of Oberyn. To me the introduction to Oberyn is the best scene in GOT, and I say that with bias since he was one of my favorite characters, and I actually liked him more in the show than the book which is RARRRRE. Then you have the trial for Tyrion which leads to one of the greatest courtroom speeches in the history of mankind, which led to probably the most intense scene in the show when Oberyn (Viper) vs. Gregor Clegane (The Mountain), which also leads to the season finale which I think is the best finale of GOT because it actually left us with a sense of optimism with characters ike Arya going to Braavos and Tyrion getting away and murkin his asshole father haha Hopefully this status isn't over doing it, just love talking ASOIAF/GOT!
