  1. Sam smelled fish on Arya. The Ghost of High Heart smelled blood, A large amount of blood. Arya will murder a lot of people and Martin will amp the revulsion each time as the killings become more vicious.
  2. Arya is insane. Yes, Arya is mentally and emotionally damaged. She suffers from mental illness.
  3. Another desperate attempt to defend Arya. The text depicts Arya is a mentally and emotionally damaged vigilante who has no idea of what justice even is. https://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php?/topic/159610-aryas-mental-illness/#comment-8722853
  4. Poor excuse. She was powerless at that moment. She is a seasoned killer now. Her mind has snapped and she has killed plenty of people. Harming and murdering people no longer bother Arya.
  5. There is no cure for Arya. She will continue to kill and commit other crimes which disgusts us.
  6. They are the finest soldiers in the world. What they lack in numbers they make up for in skills. The Dothraki horselords will make up the main attack force. The Unsullied are the special forces of Dany's team.
  7. Sansa is not smart enough to set up a plot on her own but she will take that kid's life if she thinks it will benefit herself.
  8. Meereen, Qarth, and Volantis are fat with gold. The Freedmen will happily make generous donations to Her Majesty's armies and employ every available armorer for the needs of her troops. We already know that the Return will happen in the future. Years from now. There is ample time to build weapons and armor for the Unsullied.
  9. Well done. That settles the debate for me. Daenerys will bring a very formidable force to Westeros consisting of Unsullied and Dothraki.
  10. Bran is not a suitable king. At least not in the sense of a monarch who manages, guides, governs, and administers a large country. If Bran becomes king it will be regional. Something like King-Beyond-the-Wall. King In the North, or something along those lines. He is not getting any training, nor any experience, to prepare him to govern. As you say, managing taxation and those important things that Dany is learning in Meereen. Bran is being prepared to learn magic, greenseeing (word?), and skin changing. If Bran becomes king it will be to lead a very primitive folk like the Wildlings and those pagans in his visions. It's not to sit on the iron throne and lead the seven kingdoms.
  11. Jon got assassinated because he was an incompetent leader and he later turned out to be a traitor. Jon's communication skills were awful. He was ineffective in communicating why he felt certain things needed to be done. He readily dismissed the concerns of the more senior men of the Watch. He failed to carry out justice when two of his subordinates, Mance and Janos, needed to be judged and sentences carried out. His lacked an understanding of power and authority. He misused his office to avenge Ned Stark and murdered Janos Slynt. Jon was so bad at his job that a man who has been a loyal and steady officer of the watch in Bowen Marsh had to make the decision to get rid of him for the good of the watch, for the good of Westeros, for the good of humanity.
  12. Jon Snow got the equivalent of getting fired by the men he was supposed to lead. Shows how awful his leadership was. An order that has stood for thousands of years is now in danger of collapse because of his leadership. So go ahead, make up excuses for Jon. I will be back shortly. Let us see what you can come up with.
  13. Daenerys has her dragons to prove her identity. Aegon has no proof. The burden of proof will be on Aegon. Daenerys is also the more capable of the two. She is the most capable among the young people who are in the positions of leadership. Definitely more capable of a leader than Jon Snow and Joffrey. Having testicles is the only thing going for Aegon. As we have seen, no testicles, has not stopped Daenerys. She chose not to go to Vaes Dothrak. She chose to become a ruling Khaleesi rather than a symbolic one. She defeated the Meerenese and now rule over them. She defied thousands of years of the evil practice of slavery and liberated millions. She defeated the Titan's Bastard, which points to her defeating Braavos if it comes down to a confrontation.
  14. Issues of bastardry will be far in the back of Jon's minds. He will be raised as a wight by the white walkers. He will keep his free will because his consciousness will be in Ghost or some other animal nearby. I just hope it's not Craster's son whose body Jon steals. The poor little fellow is too young to resist a skinchanger.
  15. It is a coming of age story. The point of view characters grow up. Some for the better (Daenerys, Samwell, Gilly) while others flip over to the dark side (Arya, Bran). The Song is about the characters themselves. The plot is just the backdrop. Grown up characters are already plentiful. We have Jorah, Tyrion, Barristan for the adults who experienced a life-crisis and turned their lives around.
  16. The punishment for the Others when they lost long ago was the removal of this trait from their genes. The Nights Queen was most likely killed. It kept the threat of the Others down for thousands of years until they can do their own genetics experiment. Craster comes along with the Stark genes and he made it easier for them when he started practicing incest. They were able to build their numbers of skin changers through his sons. They were and are turning his sons.
  17. Was it not the Warg King and his family that the Starks slaughtered and then raped the daughters? Which brought the warging genes into the Stark blood line.
  18. It's for the betterment of Westeros to forgive the red wedding and move on. The Starks were rebels and the Freys were commanded to get rid of them.
  19. The Frey pie theory is only a theory. I haven't seen confirmation from Martin. I think it happened but it may never ever get confirmation. It makes a cannibal of Wayman Manderly. He and Rickon can just tuck in. Rickon is used to the taste of humans by now.
  20. Your estimates are quite good. I do have my own opinion based on my recollection of the reading material about the heights of the following ladies and gentlemen: Prince Viserys/King Viserys 3: 5'11" to 6'0". Shorter than your average Targaryen. Mance Rayder is noticeable taller in comparison to Jon Snow. 5'11". I am in agreement. Greyworm. I don't recall his height being confirmed. My guess is about 5'10" or 5'11". Jon Snow at 16 is about 5'9". I do not think he will get the chance to reach full height. Princess Daenerys at 15 is about 5'4". She may add an inch when she reaches her full maturity. It is hard to say. She is short for a Targaryen. Prince Rhaegar was tall. Noticeably taller when compared to his younger brother. 6'1" to 6'2" Ser Jorah. 6'2" Ser Barristan. 6'4". Long reach gives him advantage. Robb Stark. 5'7" at his death. Jaqen. completely unremarkable. 5'9"
  21. That dirty deed was done by Mance Rayder. The wildling killed another guest.
  22. He is a smart little guy. He was the smartest boy in Winterfell during his fostership.
  23. Walder and most of his sons and daughters will fall to Arya's bloodlust but the grandchildren will live to carry the family genes. Big Walder will speak for the Freys and I think Daenerys will be willing to listen.
