  1. These Children of Gods rotated on the throne. They took turns ruling. So it can't be said who was oldest or youngest.
  2. Genetic incompatibility when the female parent is not a Targaryen is very likely a cause of the madness. The prophecy stipulated that the Promised Targaryen had to come from a couple of generations of Targaryen + Targaryen parentage. I now suspect this was to reduce the chances of madness. The Dragonlords never intended to mate with lower status people and would not have this issue of incompatibility. Illegitimate children with servants were easily sent away and were never heard from.
  3. It would look very badly for the lord commander to raid Lord Roose. Preventing Jon from raiding a noble family is protecting the honor of the watch. It is against the laws of the watch to attack the people of Westeros and that was what Jon was going to do.
  4. I don't like Wayman Manderly. He sent his son to war and supported a rebellion. His pretender king botched the war and got his followers killed. Wayman refuses to let the matter pass and murders the Freys. He feasted on their flesh. Sickening.
  5. Underrated and unappreciated. The new Lady Bolton (Fat Walda). She was sending cleverly written messages to Roose. The letters were smart enough to avoid suspicion in case the Starks intercepted the bird. She will give Ramsay a good competition.
  6. @H Wadsworth Longfellow The gem color is a unique physical trait of each individual because the world was young. Take the Christian biblical story of the first family. Adam and Eve had children. And those children had to have mated with each other. The gene pool was understandably small. The first family would look alike for several generations. The eye color in Martinworld differentiated the individuals from each other. Martin said there will be no interference from the gods but that is not saying there are no gods. The monarchs of The Great Empire of the Dawn were the children of the Gods made in their own image. They were the early generation and as close to the Gods as anybody can be. They were the earliest of their kind and were given the right to rule over the other humans on the planet. Daenerys has instinctive knowledge of the information she needed to begin the ritual. She also has the right magic power because of her ancestry. Dany's magic migrated the spirits of Khal Drogo, King Rhaego I, and King Viserys III into the stone dragon eggs. Three kings became her three dragons. I would like to think they each had their own gemstone color in their past lives when all four (including Dany) were living during the time of The Great Empire of the Dawn. Like Drogo was the Opal Emperor. I would also like to believe Dany is the reincarnation of the Great Amethyst Empress. They failed to protect her long ago but they will get their redemption and protect her this time around. The male ghosts with swords in the hall are them in their past lives.
  7. Arya undoubtedly suffers from mental illness. The problem passed down from her Tully side. The trauma she experienced didn't help.
  8. You @Terrorthatflapsinthenight9 are applying double-standards. The breaking of an oath is something taken very seriously in Westeros. Robb and Jon are known oathbreakers. Ned confessed to treason and the public was not happy about it. House Stark will have a difficult time earning trust again. This is the best hope for the Freys. Someone who was not involved in the wedding should do the judging and the sentencing.
  9. Arya will be piling bodies in Winds. Her crimes will be such that even her fans will not be able to defend her actions any more.
  10. Rent must be paid. Or taxes if Ser Willem bought the house. Either way, the cash must flow or out in the world you go.
  11. Arya is one of the more frightening people in song of ice and fire. She is literally as volatile as wildfire. She has the murderous skills of the faceless men, the fierceness and vengefulness of the wolf's blood, and top that with mental instability. The faceless men will never be able to control her. She will moonlight and murder more people. Arya answers to nobody but herself and that is another danger. She has lost her morality.
  12. Sweetrobin is slowly being poisoned. It is not yet a crime of murder because the child is still alive but Sansa is part of the insidious plot to murder the child and take all that is his. Will Sansa go through with the murder? The odds are close to even but does lean lightly to Sansa doing the crime. Look back on Sansa's past and tell me what you think. Tell me what you think will happen.
  13. Not the Qartheen, Northern Freefolk, Volantene, and the Bravosi. Qarth and Volantis will be governed by the slaves who rebelled against the masters. Bravos will be her ally but they will self rule. The Freefolk will get turned to ice by the others.
  14. The children and animals were perhaps sacrificed?
  15. The new civilization does not have to happen in Essos. It can happen in Westeros.
  16. Dany's future purpose is to start the new Great Empire of the Dawn after the Long Night. It has to happen because humans will start over. She is the mother figure who will begin this project. I just don't know if we will actually get to read about it. George R. R. Martin may leave that part untold.
