  1. Bran has a lot on his plate to obsess over one little part of what looked like a dream. He saw Jon die. The curtains came down and Jon's tragic performance ended. It is as simple as that. Jon didn't have a clue how to manage and lead his own men. Killing Slynt was a stupid political move just to get his revenge. Now his dying wish is more revenge. Then he comes back to do that. It won't end well for Jon but he will stir the North into chaos before his time is up.
  2. Jon will return and continue with his wreckless goal of finding Arya. It will be the final straw that leads to the complete collapse of the wall's defense. I am pulling for Ser Aliser being at a safe distance away from the wall when Jon gets wighted and starts killing the Brothers.
  3. Qaithe will provide convincing proof in Asshai. Dany will accept her Azor Ahai identity. Add one more title to the many she already has.
  4. The Lannisters kicked the Starks butt. I guess that's how they roll in Westeros. So why would anybody get bothered. Robb Stark was rebelling. Folks would see that as bad. Tywin beat the Starks and got their sword and gave away their lands. Sad but the Starks were part of the rebels who took the throne from the Targaryens. What goes around sometimes do come around.
  5. Qaithe pretty much tells Dany. She's guiding to where Dany will learn who she is, Azor Ahai. I don't think Dany will buy into it just from some dusty scrolls. Qaithe is showing Dany who she is. To go East to see Asshai. The once great city of the great Empire of the dawn.
  6. One of the better parts of the novels for me has to be the chapters in Qarth. Daenerys enters the House Of The Undying seeking answers. Pyat Pree was not expecting Daenerys to survive and what she saw inside were secrets meant to not come out. The warlocks and witches have no reason to lie. They didn't think the Targaryen princess would survive them. Dany beat the trap because she has a sharp mind and she had Drogon. Pyat instructed Dany to only take the doors to the right. Always the right. This is a physical impossibility given the size and design of the house as seen from the outside. It is not the Tardis with a bigger inside. She entered another realm where the physics and time are different. Which is why she can see the past as well as the future. Dany traveled through time and back again. The long, dark hallway repeats an earlier dream from A Game Of Thrones. The ancient kingly ancestors were not present this time but she had someone better to protect her this time. Drogon. Room 1. The woman and the four naked little men. These are Baratheon, Stark, Greyjoy, and Lannister raping Westeros. The naked woman is Dany's kingdom. The four villainous families are destroying the beautiful kingdom. This vision is the war caused by the dispute between Stannis and Renly. Robb and Cersei. Balon needing to bring back the old way of life for the Ironborn. The Lannisters wanting to keep the throne. Room 2. The Red Wedding. Dany seeing a picture of the wedding at the twins. The dead man wearing the head of the wolf is Robb Stark begging for justice. Room 3. The room describes a child's play room. Her room in Braavos. She dodged the lure of the trap. Room 4. Her father's throne room in Kings' Landing. Aerys ordering the pyromancers to burn the city. Room 5. Rhaegar's failure. Rhaegar thought his boy will be the prince who was promised. He looked at Dany and said there must be one more. I know Rhaegar failed because he began messing around with Lyanna. He didn't stay on course. Dany fulfills the needed third. Rhaegar looked in Dany's direction like Robb did earlier. Aegon and Rhaenys are dead. Rhaegar failed to father his three dragons just like he failed to become the next king. Rhaegar got the prophecy wrong. Dany is the three-headed dragon. She is the dragon with three heads, Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. The lights in the Hallway are starting to go out. The Long Night is approaching. Drogon sensed the darkness and urged Dany on. Dany's sharp mind figured out the trick and took the door. More doors to the right finally took her back to the light. Pyat Pree tried to push Dany back but she was not fooled. She saw the real Pyat Pree for the pale wormlike creature that he is. Reminds me of what Bran is becoming. She ignored Pyat and walked through the door to the place of the undying. The Undying have been waiting for Dany, the Prince Who Was Promised. "Long have we awaited you. We knew you were to come to us. A thousand years ago we knew, and have been waiting all this time. We sent the comet to show you the way." "We have knowledge to share with you. And magic weapons to arm you with." The man in the emerald armor was talking about Lightbringer. Mother of dragons, child of storm, child of three. They recognize Daenerys of House Targaryen, the Mother of dragons. She was born on Dragonstone during a storm. She is a Targaryen, the child of ancestors Aegon, Rhaenys, and Visenya. The Three Fires. Executions. She will order three executions by fire. Mirri was a traitor and was the first execution. Three treasons. Mirri was the first. She murdered Khal Drogo and engineered the death of Prince Rhaego. Related to the fires. Two more traitors will be burned to death. Mother of dragons, daughter of death. Rhaella, Aerys, Rhaegar, Viserys, Rhaenys, Aegon, and Rhaego are dead. Dany is the last of the Targaryens. She is the only heir to the kingdom. Mother of dragon, slayer of lies. Stannis, Aegon, and the stone beast are frauds. Dany is Azor Ahai. Aegon is not the heir to Westeros. He's not a Targaryen. The third, a man will come pretending to be a Targaryen and he will get burned. Mother of dragons, bride of fire. Drogo was not a Targaryen. He was not fire. So the fire is Dany herself. She is a bride made of fire. This is true because dragons are said to be fire made flesh. Dany will give three men to the flames. She will light three funeral fires for three men. Drogo was the first after Mirri murdered him. The corpse on the prow of the ship might be a Greyjoy but I think it's the body of Maester Aemon who will be brought to Dany by the Ironborn. The Greyjoy warship will be transporting the body to be burned. The blue rose is Jon Snow. Jon betrayed the Nights Watch and caused a crack in the wall. Jon's inept leadership weakened the military order. The blue flower has taken roots in the cracks he made. Jon will never leave the wall even though he is a Targaryen bastard. Dany will go to the wall and burn Jon's body per Targaryen custom.
  7. Jon is stuck to that wall like a fungus. He ain't leaving. He is the blue flower growing on a crack that he made on the wall. He might come to some sense later on and but that is doubtful because he died. Only the white walkers and their magic can bring him back as a wight in their service.
  8. A few will say Arya is already living a life of punishment and want to go easy on her. She is crazy and allowances will need to be given for her mental incapacity. Life imprisonment for Arya is a good compromise solution which even ardent Stark sympathizers should agree with.
  9. In A Game of Thrones we are treated to one of Bran Stark's visions. One line foretold what will happen to Jon. Why pale? Jon was stabbed multiple times and has already lost a lot of life blood. His body grows hard because that is rigor mortis. The body has died and death brings stiffness. All that are obviously what happens to somebody who went from dying to death. Jon will die from his wounds. His body will follow the normal course of rigor mortis. The more intriguing part is "as the memory of all warmth fled from him." It is an easy interpretation, warmth is life and a dead body grows cold. But there is a deeper meaning. Warmth is compassion and caring. We already know what Jon was thinking in his last seconds of life. Revenge. Murder. He wants to murder all of the Crows. Jon has chosen his side before he died. He chose family over duty. He chose to betray the Night's Watch and everything it has stood for. He broke the policy of neutrality. He betrayed justice by sparing Mance Rayder and killing Janos Slynt. It was corruption through and through. He sent the Wildling criminal to rescue his sister on a mission that breaks every laws, every ethics of the Night's Watch. Jon began the destruction of the one institution protecting Westeros from the White Walkers. That is not all though. He will come back and he will have the White Walkers to thank for bringing him back. His heart will be cold and he will bring death to everyone in the North and as far South as he can take his wights. He will reach the Trident and there he will meet his final ending through Dragonfire.
  10. Revenge is costly. It will send Arya to the grave eventually.
  11. Bashing on Janos Slynt to try to justify what Jon did to him? The North kill their babies by the wagonloads when they leave them to perish out in the elements. The Starks as a family had to have murdered more babies than one lone Janos Slynt. Janos Slynt, the one we know in the actual text, would have failed the culling to become an Unsullied. The training and the tests are nothing like what he went through in Westeros. The Unsullied are the cream of the crop, the top notch, among fighting soldiers. Janos was a regular guy who knew how to play politics and obey the right people. I have read nothing in the actual text to indicate he has the superior mental strength and excellent self discipline required of an Unsullied infantryman.
  12. Gerold Dayne's peculiar hair color pattern is a clue. He is Part-Targaryen, Part-Dayne. What he does next is up in the air but he might work his way to claim the throne for himself. He will oppose Aegon Blackfyre, Stannis Baratheon, and Tommen Baratheon. He doesn't look powerful now. His family is not strong in the military department but if he can sell the Dayne sword as the original Lightbringer and get enough to support his right to the throne. Who can say Dawn isn't Lightbringer? Who would know the difference? Nobody. Until Daenerys and her three dragons make their long-awaited appearance. Gerold Dayne will have no choice but to kneel to the might of the dragons and their great Mother.
  13. In a few minutes. Are you thrilled? I'm sure you are.
  14. Indeed it is. Arya is the surprise villain in the story.
  15. I hope not. I'm backing Dany's claim. I have a theory on what happened to Jon and will post it later.
  16. I will repeat my reply in the Arya Darkheart discussion. I don't have sympathy for Arya.
  17. This is what I will say in response to the question, characters whom I have 0 sympathy for.
  18. The last wight to fall near the end will be Weymar. The story of the Others began and will end with Weymar. Hizdahr zo Loraq is the leader of the Harpy. Daario Naharis is already dead. Stannis is already dead. Daenerys will take Westeros back at the ending. Rickon will be the only Stark left alive. Jon, Sansa, and Arya will die. Bran is not what you would exactly call alive. Arya will murder Tyrion and steal his face. She is the valonquar who will choke Cersei. Dany, Drogon, and her army carrying glass candles will scare the Others back to where they came from.
  19. Arya has more ways to die but the ending all leads to her living inside a wolf. She will die and her soul would pass to her wolf.
  20. They were in a very busy public place. The touch got Dany's attention and earned her full attention. Q wanted to get Dany's full attention because she has something to say that was important. It did work. That was all.
  21. Hoster would have been disastrous for the job. He was too ambitious and too immoral.
  22. Me, I would choose Dany to rule and make decisions as far as governing. The problem in Mereen are the resistance shown by slave masters who would like nothing better than a return to their vile business. No one should expect a world changing revolution to happen without difficulties. Dany will soon have the means to end the slavers once and for all. Jon was not really any good at ruling the wall. He's crude, rude, and would better fit in with the free folk.
  23. Jon's failures have already taken place. He is not interested in anything except getting Arya. Jaime is who and what he is and he will always be, a very bad man.
