  1. I gave it a 7.5 (voted an 8). Some scenes I really liked, others were quite bad. things I loved: I loved all the dialogue between the hound and tormund. The bear attack was nicely done, and the main battle in the episode was fantastic. Seeing Viseryion die was sad but I already saw it coming, and now the NK got a nice addition to his gang. Props for the CGI, the dragons look amazing this season. Things I didn't like: I'm quite ok with the fast pacing and some teleportation, but I think everyone agrees this episode crossed the line. Gendry running back in a couple of hours was quite funny, but the raven and dragon teleportation was bad. Furthermore I feel like more people should have died. I'm glad Tormund made it in the end, but I think it would have been better if Beric sacrificed himself instead of Jon. This would also have prevented Benjen from dying. I'm quite confused about the winterfell scenes. There are some good moments, but in the end it doesn't really make sense and I despise the forced hate between Arya and Sansa. Also LF isn't doing a lot which I hate. I want him to go out with a bang. All in all still a pretty good ep, but with some big flaws. I hate to say it but I have to agree that the writing has been pretty bad this season. I just hope the finale will be spectacular.
  2. I gave it a 10. What an episode. The KL scenes were superb in combination with the music...what a track! For me this was easily the best season finale of GoT. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire 69 minutes, that doesn't happen often. The best scene in my opinion was the one with lyanna mormont in itxD, such a great character. In short: Miguel Sapochnik has done it again....every episode he's directed was amazing, I hope he gets an emmy for his work. And yes, seeing varys on the ship in the end was a bit strange, but who knows how much time has passed? These are just minor flaws in my opinion.
  3. In my opinion it looked more realistic than 90% of movie battles. Where most movies have these 1 vs 1 battles and honourable fight scenes, this showed us chaos, which I think is way more realistic. And well, you can expect exaggerated violence when you're watching a battle. Haha this leads nowhere...I guess some people are just hard to please and that's fine.
  4. Yes, you're right, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But I would give a 1/10 only if I'd rather watch an hour of gospel singing than GoT, in which case I would've stopped watching the show a long time ago.
  5. I gave it a 9/10, but probably more like a 9.5/10. So many things were done right and the whole battle was just awesome and real. Riders of Rohan arriving in the nick of time was a little bit cliche, but that's just a minor complaint. Ramsay's death was extremely satisfying, and the way the whole episode was filmed is just spot on. I also really liked the scenes in Mereen. For me this was one of the best GoT episodes to date. Also, the people who gave this episode a 1...are you trolling or what? Even if you don't like battles or the plot, you could atleast give some points for the way it was filmed....
  6. I gave the episode a 7. I enjoyed the episode, but not as much as I'd hoped for. The preview got me all hyped up, but most of that turned out to be 'meh'. What I did like: The mountain ripping out the sparrow skull. The KL scenes were nice for a change. Jaime talking to Edmure about the catapult and the baby. The scenes with the hound were also great as usual. What I didn't like: I was extremely dissapointed with the death of the blackfish...hoped he would march his 'army' north. This was just pointless. The Tyrion joke scene was really cringeworthy...such a shame. And the Arya scenes were the most dissapointing for me...I really believed in those Arya theories...some kind of a twist...this was just bad writing. Next week bastardbowl though, super excited!
