[Poll] How would you rate episode 706?

This show used to be about how it subverted tropes and was intelligent and about humans. Now, its about hype and epicness. Banter was probably the best written thing. The teleportation was outrageous. Jon Snow somehow surviving after taking a plunge means his plot armor is so thick it covers half of Westeros. His Mary Sue-ishness is disgusting. Dany being mean just isn't convincing. Sorry. You can make it work, but right now it feels forced and out of character. Why no one has proposed a marriage yet is driving me insane. I thought dragons were supposed to be creatures of fire and all, ye know. So, not revivable? Also, where did they get chains? Just, where? And how did they get them on a dragon at the bottom of a lake? But whatever, D&D decided we need to have an epic scene with Dany and Jon facing off against the night king on dragons, so all logic be damned, we need to get the epic shot! Oh, and Winterfell. Congratulations, you made Winterfell Dorne!

Yeah, but at least in the books Varys explicitly does it because he wants her to crash in burn. Tyrion describes her as rubbing salt in the wounds.

Cersei plot armor just... really frustrates me. She has literally suffered 0 negative consequences for blowing up the sept and (as I'm sure everyone wrongly assumes) murdering Tomen. Its just absurd no one is intriguing against Cersei, no one is defecting from her, etc. etc. Or with the Iron Bank when Cersei brought up slavery. I'm pretty sure that point was actually as wrong lore-wise as it could be.

3/10. Game of Thrones has become more about cool scenes and constant character culling instead of logic, good acting, or you know, the people. Cersei just lost her last child and she was just kind of like "meh." That said, the cool scenes are very cool.
