  1. Yea, im not multi-quoting all that. You seem to want a TV show based on your head canon, and thats fine, but your head canon isnt fact, and you getting angry about that is weird. Also, when you get proven wrong, stop trying to back track and saying "well , i only said if, so i technically didnt say that".
  2. I have no idea where you are getting this argument. Rhaenyra takes possession of Dragonstone when she turns 16, there is nothing in Fire and Blood even claiming she was driven away from court. Where is it stated she was despised by people in the city ????? I didnt misinterpret your argument, and LOL at that enlightenment comment. You are mixing book and show, they are not sworn enemies in the book. And she doesnt "escape" to Dragonstone. Thats fine, but you didnt argue lack there of, you made a claim in the affirmative that Rhaenyra would harm Aegon, Helaena, Aemond, and Daeron, which she never once shows in the book or show. LMFAO ROTF, bro chill out, like seriously, you need to walk away from this forum for a while if you are reacting like this for me turning your own argument against you. False premise, morality is an opinion, and in context, morality is simply arguing that Jacaerys Velaryon will sit the Iron Throne , and he is a bastard so that cant happen, so he must die, LOL, no. That morality existed in medieval times and in the context of the books, but you as a person arguing this objectively, dont think that alone is "evil" then , idk man, that scares me, LOL Again, I disagree on your entire premise, Rhaenyra never threatens those kids, men who want Aegon on the thrown simply keep saying, outloud, in dialogue that a man should inherit and that the only way Rhaenyra will get the thrones is by killing them. Whether you believe that is true or not, it is Otto and Hubert who said it and believe it, not Rhaenyra. The Greens are the bad guys its that simple. Rhaenyra is the heir, and trying to take her throne makes you the bad guy. I already laid out why I believe the Blacks are clearly in the right, so i guess to simplify this for you, The Black's ends justify the means
  3. maybe its just me, but it sounds like they switch back and forth on the show. like "Jasaerys " and "Jakaerys"
  4. No, we are point blank told in story some of these characters couldnt possibly know what they know because they are on the other side of the continent when things happen, so at best, you argument is that some things Mushroom says could be true, but some are clearly outright lies and his own opinions, but in the context of the story, no one would be writing down the opinions of a fool. You are choosing to believe Rhaenyra was jealous of Alicent being skinnier than here, which honestly makes no sense, but go at it. Again, not the opposite, and not even what the book argues. Again, your argument is based on a line in the book that is from a fool. Rhaenyra has never once in the show or book threatened Aegon, Helaena , or Aemond before the dance happened. And to quote you "it doesnt matter why" LOL, we dont need the reason Alicent did it, we simply know she did it and it didnt start the night Viserys died. Also, it cant be a 180 if you dont know the original reasoning. The only way that Alicent's argument would be morally viable would indeed be if Rhaenyra wanted her kids dead. Again, In the books, its one sided, we are indeed told the Blacks are the good guys , and its overwhelmingly so.
  5. 1. "According to the fool mushroom" , your argument only works if you believe Mushroom to 1st have personal knowledge of Rhaenyras feeling , 2nd be telling the truth, and 3rd "history" to actually record it 2. The show doesn't make her jealous of Rhaenyra's looks . It makes her at best angry because she didn't follow traditional stances of marriage and had bastards 3. Reinforcing a narrative isn't the same as changing it. We know from the green council that it is Alicent who wants Aegon on the throne, not Aegon . So that ambition was clearly there for a while as everyone in the room was in agreement except Beesbury. And we know from that same period that Rhaenyras is willing to be diplomatic , simply extending that doesn't change a single thing . I'm really not understanding why you are taking this position other than simply wanting Rhaenyra to look evil for the sake of your own fan fiction.
  6. one of yall is going to have to quote where that happens, because I dont see it.
  7. Where in the book is Rhaenyra jealous of Alicent ? I remember one line about Rhaenyra growing plump from child birth and Alicent still being skinny, but that is literally bias of retelling by the writer as well, but even that is 3rd person and doesnt make sense as Alicent and Rhaenyra in the books havent been in the same room in like 3 years. Rhaenyra being diplomatic fits with the book, remember, she doesnt start the war, Aemond/Aegon/Alicent do. The only thing in your argument that actually is true is that they make Alicent more forth coming earlier with the attack on Rhaenyra. She didnt even want Larys to burn Harrenhal, so I dont count that as even being part of her arch.
  8. Where they not in Fire and Blood ????? Some of the people in this forum keep making this argument and I just dont get it.
  9. Im not going to lie. I did not like the string of previews we got. Everything seemed off and I thought that the older actors were just not going to cut it, boy was I wrong.
  10. 1. there are First Men Dornish, so there should indeed be some worship of the old Gods. 2. She is at the wedding, she is next to Viserys when he collapses.
  11. Alicent doesnt care who Rhaenyra slept with, its the very fact that she did indeed sleep with someone. Yall are missing the forest for the trees.
  12. I dont think rhaenrya wants to be male, I think her argument is women should be free to do what they want.
  13. LOL. emotional/ sensual touching is part of sex. I think some of you genuinely dont understand that and are indeed proving some points women have about men.
  14. Not really a plot problem. she took off and it was his job to go find her. He, sir Criston was doing his duty and there was no reason for anyone to question that. besides, they also came back with the boar. Daemon on the other hand, was already disliked and there was actual evidence they were doing what was reported.
  15. I like that the marriage between Rhaenyra and Laenor is 100% political. And adding in that bit about the Sealoard of Braavos' son and the free cities jockeying for power being the reason why it needed to happen. Rhaenyra being the one who dismisses Otto was a nice touch as well. And are they setting up Criston Cole as the father of Rhaenyra's children ?
  16. a 30 year old can see a 16 year old as a younger brother(i have a sister who is 14 years older than me actually). so again, I dont think it changes much.
  17. It doesnt really change the relationships if they also age up Cregan. an early 20's Ben blackwood being lectured by a Cregan around Rhaenyra's age makes a lot of sense.
  18. I gave it a 5 The time skip isnt the problem, its the writing and pacing. This episode was big enough to be 2 full episodes , we had so much build up of Crabfeeder his defeat just doesnt matter. Dont get me wrong, I like the idea of Deamon going all in to show he could win on his own, but again, a 3 year war basically taking place in the background is just bad.
  19. The problem is the accent and you cant understand her. While the actress is of Japanese decent(Born in Tokyo), she was raised in London and speaks English, she even completely removes the English accent in other shows/movies she is in. So this is either bad acting or bad directing.
  20. So does anyone have the confirmed ages of Laena and Rhaenyra as of episode 2. In Fire and Blood, Laena is 5 years older than Rhaenyra , but here if Laena is 12, and Rhaenyra was the babe in the belly in the Great Council scene, then she is 13/14(assuming the great council was still in 101, and Jaehaerys still died in 103).
  21. I gave it an 8. Why I praised it Changing the great council to be between Rhaenys and Viserys makes a lot more sense than Viserys vs Laenor. Why would the realm and Maesters call her " the Queen who never was", when her claim was at best 5th(behind Vaegon, Saera, Viserys and her own son Laenor) in the book, if the competition is changed to that of the child of the eldest grand child vs eldest male grandchild, then it makes the most sense. Viserys and Aemma are both more likable then expected. Corlys is played like he is in the books, as simply being a loyal supporter of who's ever side he is on. Some had made the claim he would be a schemer like we see Otto. I didnt want that. Otto and Daemon having a personal rivalry/Actually showing why people fear Deamon being king, i just felt like the book didnt show this. Why its not a 9 or 10 Opening scene wasnt long enough and wasnt what I was expecting. I had read rumors that this was more detailed scene and was hoping that we actually saw the lords debate, and more importantly, Lords swear to defend Rhaenys' rights Velaryon wigs, they actually are just horrible. more dragons should have been visible at the beginning so people see the scope.
  22. The Subtitles say it is Boremund who asked for her favor. So he would be her uncle.
