  1. They were in the middle of the forty ruling families of the freehold. While not at the top they were far from the bottom. Even the lowest ranking of the forty families of Valyria is far greater than the strongest of Westerosi families.
  2. Weymar Royce was an arrogant little prick who was unqualified to lead that party. Bran Stark. Jaime Lannister. Quentyn Martell, even if I liked his chapters, he tried to steal Dany's dragons. He deserved to get baked.
  3. Been said pretty much by everyone. Jon being male puts him at the highest risk for going insane if he is the child of Lyanna and Rhaegar. It seems the data implies Targaryen + Targaryen do not increase the chances but rather reduces the likelihood of the child going mad.
  4. I do not think Martin will put Arya in prison. Arya has the wildness of the direwolf. She would rather die, and she will, instead of being imprisoned in a facility for the insane. Arya will die as soon as the last name on her list takes their last breath. The end of her life will be the only justice for her victims. It may not be a bad way because Arya gets relief from her insanity.
  5. Bran is a dark Pinocchio character. Except one of his friends will die each time he does something repugnant.
  6. I just hope the future Targaryen monarch, which I hope will be Daenerys, will pardon Ser Aliser and reward him with lands confiscated from the Lannisters.
  7. He is being poisoned slowly but Sansa might just smother him with a pillow. He's physically weak and small enough for even Sansa to dispatch with ease. It could happen and more likely than not it will be Sansa doing it.
  8. No way Arya becomes mentally healthy again. I hope she doesn't blow up King's Landing or any city. This is George R R Martin though and that kind of drama cannot be ruled out. Arya is the most probable of the antagonists to commit a crime of that magnitude.
  9. From killing out of self-defense, to desecrating the dead, to murdering Dareon and the insurance agent. Arya has desensitized herself to death. She murders without guilt or remorse. The future is indeed very dark. She should get the same punishment given to Lady Stoneheart. Cat killed Jinglebells, an innocent bystander. Arya's crimes are more terrible.
  10. The Unsullied and the khalasars will claim Westeros for Daenerys. I just do not see any army on Westeros who are strong enough to win against them. They have trained every day for ten years. All of the weak among them have been culled. The Dothraki are the best riders and second only to the Summer Islanders in archery.
  11. The men who took part in the wedding will die. LSH has already began her slaughter in what could be called revenge. It is not justice. The Starks will not look for justice but revenge. Dany is the best hope for justice if the Freys live that long. Arya the homicidal girl, trained by the Faceless Men, is coming for them. LSH, Arya, the wolves, and the corrupted Brotherhood will murder every Frey that falls into their hands. But see, there are too many Freys spread far and wide for them all to fall into Arya's and LSH's hands. The Frey clan is not in any danger of dying out. Only Walder and his sons will die for the wedding. The Starks will not come out of this without taking major damage. Walder and his sons will die but it should cost the Starks the life of LSH and Arya.
  12. Nice. I will also say Daenerys is the equivalent of Aegon the Conqueror. She is Azor Ahai. Very nice coincidence. Bowen Marsh punched Jon's train ticket to the wolves' happy hunting ground. He's on a fast train to the wolf afterlife. Robb's was punched too and Roose was the conductor.
  13. By some, it really means a small minority. And those will change their minds as soon as their master gives them a whipping.
  14. Cersei is not really a leader. She marries into power but that is all. Robb can lead in battle but he is not at competent at ruling. Jon is the same as Robb. He may have some leadership abilities but he is not a ruler. Jon failed at justice when he killed Janos Slynt. He chose poorly when he sent Mance and the wildlings to get Arya. Daenerys is the one who should rule over Westeros. The slaves see Dany as the Mother. They will be loyal to Dany. Yeah, so they will rule those cities but they will be subordinate to her.
  15. To quote Aemon in "Feast", The dragons prove it.
  16. Each people have a piece of the puzzle. That could be the reason why everybody must cooperate in order to avoid the extinction of life on Planetos. The Dosh Khaleen have theirs, the Maesters theirs, as well as the Asshai. Bran is on a journey through the weirwood network. Daenerys meanwhile takes a physical journey all over Essos and gets exposed to a lot of weird cultures. Samwell will almost certainly learn something from the Citadel.
  17. The comet arrives at the same time as the pole shift of the planet. The red comet arrives at the same time the axis is about to tilt. The comet does not have to be the cause as long as it is on the same schedule. George could say later on something different. Like the comet's pull tilts the planet's axis.
