  1. It's not just Velaryons and Arryns who got nipped from the family tree. Drogo, Baelor, and Rhaego got nipped because they were not real dragons. Baelor was part Dornish. Rhaego was half Dothraki. Rhaegar's children with Elia got lopped from the tree too.
  2. Dany will build her army around the Unsullied, Ironborn, and Dothraki. The best foot soldiers, fierce sea warriors, and awesome cavalry. She can flatten paramount houses without the need to use her dragons. I think she will choose to negotiate first and will be mostly successful. The biggest problems will be the Starks. I foresee the Boltons getting rid of Stannis. The Lannisters will win their war with the Martells. We should get a Field of Fire 2.0 if the Lannisters and the Starks become problems.
  3. If by this you mean an afterlife you will be disappointed. Reincarnation happens over there but you lose memories and you do not come back as you were. Wargs like the Starks get on as animals, wolves, after death. Wights are not the same person. Only the shell of a body and the mind is mostly gone. Catelyn should be easy to control because a lot of her mind is gone. She is a wight with no controller.
  4. Symmetry with Fire would require Jon Snow to be the son of Brandon Stark and Lyanna Stark. The Dark Side is also on the move to create their own champion of the dark and it's Jon Snow. The Kingsguard of Aerys were honorable men. I don't see any of them fathering a child with a child unless the king commanded it. And Aerys would not do that.
  5. Best of the shows. This is proof that Daenerys is Azor Ahai as the person is called in Asshai and the Prince Who Was Promised from the Targaryen family. Daemon finally found his place in the story. His role is to help make Dany happen in the future and he needs to support Rhaenyra to make it happen.
  6. The Targaryens are a subset of the Valyrian race. I think the Starks have the DNA of the Others in their blood. A fair comparison can be made between Targaryen and Stark. Targaryen is to Fire, as the Stark is to Ice. Some Targaryens are magically connected and bonded to dragons. Some Starks are magically bonded to wolves and genetically connected to the Others. The genetic jump took place when the 13th commander, a Stark, had children with the Night's Queen. The Starks saved the children and their genes now live in the Stark. Jon Snow, Ned's illegitimate son, is the new Night's King.
  7. I like Strong Belwas. Discussing large men in general can lead to interesting talk. Illyrio Mopatis was athletic in his younger years. Father time is harsh and too much of the good food is unkind to the body. Belwas is a young man who must have fought every week like professionals play football. I also think he started wrestling to learn those moves. His owners would not allow him to add so much weight were it not serving a purpose in the ring. I am thinking Sumo kind of wrestling and then he learned to fight with blades later on. The buckler training came later. I would doubt if Oznak was his first fight against a mounted opponent with a lance. He was way too confident.

Wayman Manderly is an old man. The lords do not often get into battles. Wayman's last and only fight has to happened during the rebellion. Dunk was a squire who wasn't smart. He succeeded because of the size advantage he had. Gregor is the toughest of all.

I appreciated Dany's sensibility with Belwas. She knows how to manage people and their feelings. This is important in a leader. She will increase her followers this way and they will be loyal.

  8. Not going to happen with Arya.  Sansa is the female in the Tyrion triangle with Harry.  I predict Sansa will die and both men will lose her.

Arya's chance to have a love triangle has come and gone.  She is not going to make it all the way to the wall.  I am predicting Arya will die at the Twins.

  9. There is no gray area in slavery.  It is a big part of the A Song of Ice and Fire but nowhere does it say it's ok.  If Martin was willing to put on a uniform to fight the Nazis he would have done the same to fight slavery.

If the slave had a choice then it's not really slavery.  A servant who may not receive pay but has the freedom to leave is not a slave.  Slavery is the ownership of another person and it deprives that person of the right to choose whether to serve or to leave.

  10. House Frey has one of the better probabilities of surviving because of the number of children the Lord of the House has.  Arya, Jon, and the Others will reduce the number of Freys but many who live in the southern parts of Westeros will have ample warning and sail for Essos before the wights kill everyone in their path.  A wight Jon Snow will be among the armies of ice moving towards the south.  Arya and wighted Jon might burn together in each others' arms at the Trident after Drogon bakes them with dragon fire.

The Tully sisters went mad.  Catelyn Tully-Stark and Lysa Tully-Arryn were showing signs of madness and emotional fragility.  Lysa had it from her youth to her death.  Catelyn lost it at the wedding.  She cut Aegon Frey's throat and killed him.  Catelyn went mad that minute.  There is insanity in the Tully blood.  Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Rickon are half Tully.  Cat's brood inherited the gene predisposing them to insanity.  I know stress can trigger the disease.

Arya, Sansa, Bran, and Rickon are part Tully.  Arya has already began to lose her fragile grip on sanity.

Bran will become more dangerous if he should follow and lose his sanity.  A greenseer falling victim to the Tully curse of insanity will be great for the story though.

  12. It is Arya who will slowly become mentally impaired.  Sansa will fall in love with Petyr Baelish and her life will end the same way like her Aunt Lysa.  Petyr killing her after she becomes useless.

  13. Remove the symbolism of silver against werewolves and the future for the Starks still look bleak.  That one family is responsible for the two rebellions.  The latter, War Of The 5 Kings, is still not settled.  Lord Commander Jon Snow will be the cause of the fall of the Night's Watch.  Winter is the season of dying.  The Starks cause the death of many.  Bran's body will lose its function but he will not die.  He will be the greenseer or the more appropriate, Darkseer.  The Direwolves will be banished to the other side of the wall and then the winter will give way to sunlight.

I think Bran has to die before Winter ends and Spring returns.

Silver was not involved in the stabbing of Lord Commander Jon.  It was not Bowen who did the betraying.  Jon betrayed them.  Jon betrayed the watch.  The stabbing was damage control.  Silver was part of the payment to Roose Bolton but he would have done it for less to save the people from more harm from Robb the rebel.

Hilarious!  Bowen will be quickly killed as there will be chaos at Castle Black.  Hopefully, Wun Wun will pull his traitor arms off.

Bowen Marsh stabbed Jon to save the Night's Watch from Jon's incompetence.  He didn't do it out of hate for Jon.  Although Jon deserved it after he murdered Janos Slynt.  Bowen will take the dying Jon somewhere to let him expire quietly and quickly.  The job is done.  The next is to sort Jon's mess and get the watch back to work instead of getting involved in the Bolton-Stark feud.

his bastard brother Jon sleeping alone in a cold bed, his skin growing pale and hard as the memory of all warmth fled from him.

The death will be fast in coming.  His body will get the stiffening because of the cold ambient temperature.  Bowen M will take Jon to the ice cells to let him die in peace.

It is an easy interpretation, warmth is life and a dead body grows cold.  But there is a deeper meaning.  Warmth is compassion and caring.  We already know what Jon was thinking in his last seconds of life.  Revenge.  Murder.   He wants to murder all of the Crows.

He wants Arya to avenge him.  Jon inside the body of Ghost can do a lot of harm.  Arya as Nymeria and Jon inside Ghost can do a lot of violence.  Arya dies before she can return to the north but finds herself inside Nymeria.  The Direwolves meet and together slaughter everyone they find.

Dany is very, very capable. The magnitude of the social changes needed at Slaver’s Bay is such that nobody else could do half as well as she has. The Masters and their evil objective to bring slavery back are to blame for the problems.

I could. I think I could do better to be honest.

Jon is the comparison.  Dany is more able and more capable.

Failure is possible.  The mission to give the slaves freedom could fail.  But that has not happened yet.  While Jon already failed at the wall.  Jon failed.  Jon failed the Nights Watch and Westeros.  It's in the past and Jon's tragic time at the wall will be written in the history books for future students to study failure.  Dany can still succeed and help the slaves be free.
