    Gendry is not loyal

True, but which woman does a guy really listen to, the one who gave him a really good job, or the one who says shut up and take off your pants?

Discussing Sansa XXXVII: The Hound and The Little Bird

I don't find it all that unusual that everyone knows what to her. Its not like Ramsay was trying to keep any of it secret. Many of these characters spent time with Theon. The general population in and around Winterfel had to know....

    Daenerys and Jon are over

She doesn't care who is on it, only that it has no power over the north.

A Misunderstanding of "Big Bad" / Why Cersei Last Makes Sense

Well said, and I completely agree.

Speculation for fun: How will Arya be rewarded?

Much like the Usurper Henry VII ended the war of the roses, and married the Daughter of the family who's claim he usurped.

Is Tyrion going to die in this episode?

I fully suspect that the way Westros is governed will look so different by the end, that questions about claims are likely moot anyways.

    Blood magic...

I wonder if in Killing the NK, magic might start fading in the world? It might Turn Bran back to Bran, might mean Jon will die and might diminish and kill the Dragons.

Is Tyrion going to die in this episode?

That becomes of little importance if they stay together as a couple. they are King and Queen either way, and which of them really makes which decision becomes about their personal relationship, not which is the Monarch and which is Consort.

How is Martin do with wrapping up this story?

Rant and Rave Without Repercussion End of The World Edition [Spoilers]

He was killed by his arrogance, If he fought Jon he would have beaten him easily, then died due to arrogance, probably when someone else assumed dead stabbed him from behind. As for what "poisoned" star wars, its not the gender of the hero, it that the guy who controlled "Last Jedi" did a crappy job, and was not being controlled by the studio. Its problem was the lack of a show runner.

    Cersei's Army

Yes, if they turn, it will be because their true employer is the Iron Bank.

[spoilers] So, in the end, the PTWP...

It also perhaps points out the truth of prophecy, that its often made to fit after the fact, in order to reinforce the belief in the source.

[spoilers] So, in the end, the PTWP...

No, you are missing the point with her, she cannot defeat everyone, by herself, that has never even been hinted at. What she can do is get to nearly ANYone. Its hardly unusually that one of the hero's in a story becomes exception al what they do. Need everyone dead, find someone with a couple of dragons. Need a specific person dead, talk to this kid.

Rant and Rave Without Repercussion End of The World Edition [Spoilers]

My advice to everyone is if you did not predict how this was going to go, don't get yourself all worked up over how you predict it will end, because you're probably wrong again.

Rant and Rave Without Repercussion End of The World Edition [Spoilers]

The Night king is done in this story, and the 3ER's powers will probably fade because of it. Its possible there is still some magic in the land of always winter that will cause the cycle to repeat in a few thousand years, but it seems more likely to me that this is heading to a LOTR type ending where the magic is leaving the world and Men have to fair for themselves.

The books are not going to end like this

I think they will get Executive Producer Credits, but have minimal involvement. They are going to work for Disney (Lucasfilm)

    Discussing Sansa XXXVI: Long Night

Its not, but it had to be resolved first. Going after the throne first would seem like swatting a mosquito while a tiger was ripping your head off. It clearly would have made more sense on the surface to wait one more episode to do that, but let see if they can make this pay off.

    Potential relationship Sansa/Tyrion ?

Because Henry Tudor had a dubious at best claim to the Throne, but was accepted and ended the debate marrying someone very high on the other side. Both Jon and Daenerys have a much better claim, but Tyrion not so much. Its all pure speculation of course, but we now have several couples who bring houses together, and could be seen similarly. Gendry's claim may be most similar to Henry the 7'th as well.

Bran becoming the next Night King

Its possible that in the end they realize that there is still something malevolent in the far north and that they need to rebuild the defenses against it. More likely though that the world will have moved on from that. I would expect Bran's powers to fade now, as they were part of a system that is now broken.

    Potential relationship Sansa/Tyrion ?

This of all the potential couples to resolve the conflict most resembles Henry VII and Elizabeth of York.

The books are not going to end like this

I am quite certain that those waiting for a literal implementation of these prophecies will be as disappointed in the books as they are with the series. You will have to think about it for a bit and then see how Martin made the Prophecy real.

"There is only One Thing We Say to Death"

The point is that Prophecies are always vague and open to interpretation. They are things that people use to convince themselves they are doing the right thing. We as fans use them to justify our belief that the person we want to win, is the one who will actually win. Even after, we don't always know what they actually refer to. Simple example (from a lousy movie) who is the last Jedi? Could the spring be not the end of winter, but the start of a period of peace and prosperity? Could the heart of the lover be not the one beating in her chest, but her children (Dragon) ?

    Dany is army-less, isn't she?

I am completely convinced that most of the south will never believe that this battle even happened. Just another myth from the north about boogie men in the winter.

    Discussing Sansa XXXVI: Long Night

How do you know that? have you ready the Script for episode 6? Why not wait until the end, and what the future looks like before condemning it? What if part of the bittersweet ending is Danny coming to the realization that her Dragons represent too much power, so she has to let them go? What if, as a result of all this there is no Iron throne or Monarch to sit in it? I don't know what is coming next, but this point, where the dead are beaten, but the leadership of Westros is in question has been inevitable since day 1. Its probably why Martin cannot make progress on his books.

The books are not going to end like this

    1) Like it or not, the books are at this point unlikely to end at all. 2) Of course they are not, they have dozens of extra lose ends to tie up.
