The Night’s Watch and the Gift(s) don’t make sense

It is fair and apt It's not. It is along the same lines as what you were discussing. lol. your argument fails to hold water. demanding reality in a magical fantasy setting is a bit juvenile.

The Night’s Watch and the Gift(s) don’t make sense

and how many 8000 year old ruling dynasties can you name except for the wall, the pyromancer's guild, weirwoods with carved faces, valyrian steel swords and the whole city of Asshai why are weird demographics bothersome in the shadow of a 300 mile long 700 foot tall wall of ice and stone?

The Night’s Watch and the Gift(s) don’t make sense

Well, it's a good thing that Dragons, fire magic, networked magic god trees, not elves, ice demons and years long season's do, because otherwise it would be totes weird

    Stand beside her dragon

Yes. He lets her walk away from his den. He will probably follow her while hunting and part of the next book is her uniting the horse riders under the Dragon Rider. Lol no. He has been eating well. There is no need to be angry at people riding his food fire kills pathogens, and dragons are magical. Fire made flesh. Their wounds smoke and steam. A germ will not harm them

Do you think Victarion Greyjoy is a psycopath?

Aerys did not screw Barristan's wife and then have to kill her. Not at all. When Aerys was dead he became the LC of Bob's Kingsguard. And vic is planning in betraying his brother/king and taking the king's bride. Lol, Dutiful. Vics willingness to follow the man who raped his wife shows a lack of moral compass and a lack of empathy someone he claimed to love. Both are signs of sociopaths and psychopaths. His love for killing is also a prime indication of being a psychopath. He kills LOTS of people. and remember, he plans of betraying his king and taking his king's bride. This is far different than obeying to stay alive. He is willingly following his brother. He plans on killing Dany's husband and taking her as a wife by force. even when it comes to IronBorn Taboo's, he lacks a true moral compass. He willingly makes offerings to a god other than the drowned god. Then there is that whole plan to betray his brother. You really read that part weirdly. Alysanne said that because a man's wife had wronged him, he was allowed to deliver 6 blows, but not more as the seventh belonged to the stranger. It was wrong for a husband to kill his wife and the 96 blows he gave her were meted out to him and appropriate punishment He is a psychopath, and he didn't just "do a bad thing," He has done bad things his whole life and will continue to do so.

    Poll: Is Daario actually Euron?

If there isn't any real support in the books I don't really call them theories but my favorite is that Dawn, the runic bronze armor of the Royces and winterfell were all possessions of the last hero who divided them up between his family and spread them out in case the others returned. In terms of real theories, I believe that Rhaegar gravely wounded Bob by knocking him off his horse, then the prince dismounted out of a sense of honor before that physically stronger Bob killed him and he fell to his knees in the river. Rhaegar was a tourney champion and bob was no good with a lance. I'm heading off to work so I don't have time to locate the quotes but we have Jorah telling Dany that Rhaegar fought nobly, he fought honorably and he died. Then later I believe it was when Belwas was standing while fighting the mounted Yunkai champion. Barristan said that an honorable man would dismount

Vic is more than one person? wow dude, that's a reach, even by the standards of this forum Nice non-reply. Go read a history book You seem easily confused. I guess I can't fault you for not following along. So it's best you don't reply. Seriously. I thought you weren't going to reply again?

    Poll: Is Daario actually Euron?

lol lol I am right of course. I don't do fan fic. dario=euron is pure fan fic exactly. This is a work of fiction, not historical study. People who do not exist in a world that does not exist. why is that so hard for people to understand?

    Poll: Is Daario actually Euron?

I remember having a discussion several years ago and a proponent of this theory said something to the effect of "Look, I have hte maps and I did the math and it is totally possible that euron is sailing between the iron islands and slaver's bay. besides, he made a deal with the storm god to give him favorable winds" the fan fic got really out of control around year 5 with no winds

What is the Illyrio Barristan connection?

Pretty much this. The Lord commander of the kingsguard and the greatest and most renowned knight in the seven kingdoms was publicly shamed, mocked and dishonored by the son of the king who pardoned him. He did not want to put his family at risk, and he had no other reason for living aside from duty. Varys could easily find him, give him a rundown of what was happening and send him to Fatty McFatterton.

we are only talking about 1 though You use a word like naive, but you have no concept of history. You think that Himmler, Goering, Goebbels and Mengele were good guys who just happen to fall in with a bad dude and some bad things went down. That is fucking Naive Vic willingly follows euron in spite of all the horrible personal things that he did. That behavior is found in sociopaths and psychopaths. If you actually knew a psychopath is, it would have been obvious. He killed her and then still follows the man who dishonored him and "forced" him to kill his wife.

Daenerys (very likely) has Stark ancestry

The point is that things like "Kingsblood" is bullshit. Almost every major family is somehow connected to the royal line, and with the concept of First night, as shown in the "dragon seeds" huge swaths of the common folk have kingsblood as well.

Do you think Victarion Greyjoy is a psycopath?

No, you are. Christ dude, the third reich didn't happen overnight. It happened over decades. Also, the people who pulled the triggers or flipped the switches did so because they did not have an issue with it. Naziism and it's associated attrocities did not happen in a vacuum. Anti-semitism was rampant in europe. It wasn't invented in germany. Those horrible people who did those horrible things were already horrible, but the political climate removed a number of things that would keep that horrible shit in check to a degree. Seriously, did you even read the books? What did wuron do in the novels, where did he go, why did he go? Who told him to go. Lol, tears. He still killed her

Do you think Victarion Greyjoy is a psycopath?

you know nothing Juan Snow https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopathy Read this before you comment again. Especially the concepts of the triarchic model. He dutifully followed his brother, and technically still is with an entire fleet in Slaver's bay, He is hoping to revenge by stealing his bride. None of this says "Hey, I'm not a psychopath" I bet you know less about medieval warfare than you do about sailing,. you do not wear full plate armor on a boat at sea if you intend to live. People don't even need a weapon to kill, you. They just have to knock you off the boat Ah, I get it now. See, what you are quoting from is a "Fantasy" novel. It is a story that contains fantastic and unrealistic depictions that while divorced from reality, are enjoyed by the readers specifically because they know that such things do not exist in the real world. I hope that helps. It isn't a comparison. The characters are radically different. If we were just comparing kills in battle that would be one thing, but we aren't. Did you read the books? Remember the slaves he sacrificed?

    Glass Candles - Questions

Quaithe having access to a glass candle would be consistent with how she communicated to Dany after Dany left Qarth. Of course. This is a fantasy novel. Nope. If it was relevant to the plot it would be mentioned in the way Quaithe and Marwyn and Pate talk about them. No, Dany makes no mention of a glass candle. Truly though we are not told the extent of Quaithe's powers If this is how quaithe is talking to Dany then no, you only need one

Do you think Victarion Greyjoy is a psycopath?

Individuals make the culture, including those who blindly follow. Have you killed a relative? If not then why? You make it sound quite easy and natural. His brother. did you read the books? He was not following a moral compass. For a moral compass you need empathy. He had none for his wife or anyone else.
