Know fuck all about french football. Whats Disasi like? I have every confidence in the recruitment so far but a steer would be nice. I hope he is another Botman.

I think we were in competition with you at some point to sign him, which means he's probably quality.

    ...right ?

If man utd really are asking for 50 million for Maguire, that is fucking hilarious.

how much is he worth then?

because it feels like asking for less than 50M is a hilarious loss on the purchase price, while asking for more than 50M is hilariously deluded considering the player he is :dunno:

Julian Alvarez joined the select group of players that won a Champions League, a Libertadores, a Copa América and a World Cup- alongside Dida, Cafu and Ronaldinho. He completed football at 23 years old, the bastard.

He's won the Premier League, Champions League and World Cup the same year. Has it ever happened?

Not that it's enough to make the Ballon d'Or top 3, though (you'd expect Messi, Haaland and Mbappé to make it, probably in that order...)

That sounds indeed low for Mac Allister.

As for Zlatan one of the great CFs of our generation, who had the misfortune to be playing at the same time as Messi and C. Ronaldo. Otherwise a Ballon d'Or would've been on the cards for him. Curious what he will do next. I could see him following a post playing career path similar to Cantona.  I don't see him as a head coach somewhere.

Just like Lewandowski, Zlatan have always been accused of not being very good in the big, decisive games and I'm not sure Ronaldo and Messi not being there would have changed that (he even once played with Messi IIRC)

also, playing for Sweden is no boost in the race for a Ballon d'or

Meh, 0-0. Draw worst of all worlds.

Loss would've been fine to give Düsseldorf a shot of finishing third ahead of mordor.

Win would have been better giving us a shot at finishing third.

Draw is just not gonna cut it for neither Düsseldorf, nor us.

which team are you rooting for, again ?

  6. I think the only season post Fergie we had a decent finish run was the 19/20 season, but this was thanks to a 3 months break. Other than that, we have an usual collapse to end the season. Would be interesting to see how many PPG we average in our last 10 games each season, since 2013 vs prior to 2013.

  7. not sure if I care a lot about that result.

( I mean we've had an embarassing performance tonight but the result was always a bit predictable after we bottled that two goal lead in a game we cruised. That's debatable but we kinda lived what Barca lived against us )

We're not in the same position than 16/17 when we needed to win the EL

of course, it's only true if we stay at 3rd. I guess reaching the FA cup final would be cool as well... :dunno:
