    Why is Arya so boring?

Welcomed in the North with open arms by the lovely Ramsay Snow.

First Men Kings in the North

House Bolton is found in the Age of Heroes. Night's King lived during this time. Old Nan says that he was a Stark. She says a lot of accurate stuff. So what if: House Bolton is found from one of the children he had?* That makes them Stark bastards. The castle NK found was the Dreadfort. This name kind of resembles the Nightfort. * It is said that Night's King sacrificed babies to Others (like Craster did). So his children were born as humans. So no, Roose is not an immortal Other, it's just happenes that he had (has?) distant ancestors/relatives among them, like other Westerosi/Beyond The Wall people have. Night's King was defeated by a Stark King Of Winter, who joined forces with Joramun, a King Beyond The Wall. And who sides with who now? To defeat who? Jon Snow is the (possible) heir of the last King In The North, Robb Stark. So Jon Snow (presumably legitimized Stark) is the legit King In the North who sides with the King Beyond The Wall, Mance Rayder (who symbolically at least, has Joramun's horn), to defeat the Night King's descendants, Roose and Ramsay Bolton (who also happens to be an ex-Snow). History repeats itself. Only difference is that they changed names and places. The Night King's heirs took the home from the Starks, their relatives. It's not the Nightfort that will be abandoned and forgotten now. It will be the Dreadfort, with tales told about it from the future Old Nans. And the Bolton's name forbidden and forgotten... ...with a possible surviving offspring, which will survive the Winter and move more south, finding himself another castle. Something-Fort.

    Dissecting Names

In some Slavic languages "Orel" means Eagle, so when I was introruced to Orell (the warg wildling with an eagle as a companion) I found it somewhat interesting. Another name of Slavic origin: Stanislav ("stani"-to become, or achieve; "slava"-glory, or fame,) for me refers to Stannis.

Best no-POV character so far ?

Do you write in pink so that you honor the Boltons? If so, you're so creepy cool. I like the Blackfish, Varys, Ygritte, and I admit, Vargo Hoat makes me laugh. "You're my captith."
  8. Yeah the books are really atmospheric. A legit point. When you meet Balon and his brothers it feels almost like being in this insane company you want to get out of, but yet it was amusing and laughable when Aeron was doing his chantings. Also for me Cressen's chapter did an amazing job on depicting how empty and almost sad is the atmosphere surrounding Stannis, and Dragonstone as a place. Later on Davos' POVs continue this work. They wanted to wipe out every hint of Red Wedding, as you say, and they went as far as totally erasing the role of Ramsay in Theon's short reign of Winterfell and flaying and burning the farm boys. Also, they covered the sack of Winterfell. Though it didn't surprise me despite I wasn't reading the books back then. The third season had a slow build up for something nasty, and you couldn't miss the way of making the show: Building until episode eight, in the ninth it has its zenith, and the aftermath was in the season's finale.

    Why do people hate Sansa?

Maybe some do because she shared valuable info with Cersei in AGoT and hurt her family's cause. And falling for Joffrey. I pity her, she is in a very, very bad situation practically all the time.

OMG yours is the worst already.

Man you just made my day with Curb Your Enthusiasm. This is THE best comedy series ever. I just checked and Season 9 first episode airs on 01.10.17.

Yes I watched the first 7 I think, but didn't watch those released after 2014. Thank you for the recommendation, I will check the rest of them these days.

[Poll] How would you rate episode 707?

Gave it an 8. I was satisfied overall except for some moments. Like: 1. "The Robert's rebellion was built on a lie"-out of nowhere, Aerys' insanity doesn't count and it's only the Lyanna "abduction" left on. 2. Theon fighting with the other Ironborn, 3. Making obvious that the actor who plays Bronn doesn't get to be with Cersei (Lena) in the same scene, so he says something like "Come on Pod, we have to go"?? No they didn't! There were people of all kinds there, not sure why there weren't good enough to attend. Could've just make a scene without them and drop that part out. 4. Rhaegar looked the same as Viserys. 5. Did it have to be Aegon? So those are the small negatives, but overall was good and long enough, I like that Jaime finally left, Euron and Cersei being themselves, the last scene where the Night King looks very powerful now and has a lot of followers, good for him.

Rank your 2017 TV shows throughout the year

    1. Gommorah 2. Taboo 3. GoT Didn't finish Fargo, Better call Saul, didn't even start Homeland newest seasons. And Twin Peaks doesn't even look like Twin Peaks anymore even after some point from its second season, so I quit it after a try of 2-3 episodes of this year's season. This happens when you don't finish something when it's time to do so. Gotta check Black Mirror though, can anyone vouch for last season?

So where would you live ?

Beyond the Wall. No bending and no kneeling.
  16. Tormund has become a Westerosi citizen.
  17. First on my mind is Fyodor Pavlovich Karamazov - from The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky. When a man has no other qualities whatsoever, but has money, and therefore power over people around him - him is what you get.

    The Best commander in ASOIAF

Yeah this is strange. And GRRM adds to it by Robert giving Storm's End to Renly, which is far better positioned and fruitful than Dragonstone by all means so Stannis initially has barely 5,000 men when he besieged Renly's camps.

Robert took Westeros via winning battles. The answer is already there.

Luckily they ran out of filming time, since Umbers turn on Ramsay would be lamest thing to do. After they bring Rickon to Ramsay and killed his Shaggydog, no reason and logic this Smalljon would've betrayed Ramsay. Why oh why did they have this dumb idea is beyond me.
