    Strangest Possible Ending

You should read the show spoilers sticky, specifically:

What was the point of r+l=j

Yeah, Sansa also asks for his forgiveness in the last episode for doing that. So she wasn't trying to hide the fact she broke her word.

What was the point of r+l=j

I think Dany fans are just trying to salvage something. I keep reading posts about Jon and Dany and people are just straight up ignoring or changing scenes to make Jon the bad guy. It makes no sense.

Can't it just be part of a story? Does everything have to have a point or moral to get accross? Jon was Rhaegar and Lyanna's child. This made Ned who he was when we saw him and finally caused some paranoia in Daenerys in the end, could be just as simple as that.

Jon killing Dany doesn’t work for me

I wasn't saying she isn't. The person I quoted said Jon didn't confront her about anything and quite clearly he did.

That's the scene. He confronts her about killing prisoners and burning people (3:50 onwards). Maybe you missed that part?

Jon killing Dany doesn’t work for me

He was very much like Jaime Lannister during Roberts Rebellion. The worst thing they could have done was kill Jon. He had just fought and defeated the Night King and many in the North still saw him as their King (including Sansa), not to mention the Wildlings love him and the Vale followed him into battle. Killing Jon would probably have caused another war much like killing Jaime after he stabbed Aerys in the back would have probably caused a war.

This is hilarious. I have to thank D&D for the finale, without which there wouldn't be threads like these. Keep em coming.

[Book Spoilers] R+L=J, A+J=T and other theories on HBO V.4

Come on. It's very far from that, let's not be ridiculous.

No one really cares about KL massacre

Ironic that you chose to say this as you cannot accept that Dany is the bad guy in the series.

No one really cares about KL massacre

The Chivalric code was going during the middle ages which proves you wrong. You're also trying to say that everyone involved in a war for some reason would have no moral code of their own. Look at Stannis. He absolutely does not stand for any pillaging and raping from his men. There would have been commanders like this in our own history. I'm not applying modern morality to anything.

No one really cares about KL massacre

Edmure would. He allowed the smallfolk into Riverrun knowing that it wasn't the best strategic move protecting them to the detriment of himself. He's is one of the few true knights in the series.

You're making out that everyone is some sort of blood thirsty lunatic that has no problem killing people by the thousands. Jon not being ok with it is completely in character, exactly the same as when Ned found out about what Tywin had done during Roberts Rebellion. I'm guessing Jon and co had morals and were sickened by what they saw.

    Castrating Jon (Literally)

Tarth isn't one of the great houses and Sam was just a new maester that broke his oaths and stole from them. Surely the arch maester would be the one that goes and votes.

    A season of Jons betrayal

I'm sure there's probably someone out there arguing that the younglings had it coming or some bullshit and that Darth Vader was just misunderstood and actually the good guy. Luke probably baited him into cutting his hand off or something.

You have some pretty funny views on this. I can see that you won't budge from your ridiculous belief that Dany is the good guy. I'm out.

    A season of Jons betrayal

She still attacked the city after they had surrendered though. You're not addressing that. Your excuses for killing the soldiers are ridiculous. So it's their own fault for not running away. The soldiers had surrendered and thrown down their weapons. There was no excuse for killing them. Also, it doesn't matter what another character would have done. That doesn't change the atrocities that were commited by Dany and her men.

She had already won though. The city had surrendered and after that she went on the rampage. She also gave her soldiers orders to kill any prisoners they had. That's after they had surrendered and were defenceless.

    A season of Jons betrayal

Questions like asking her about roasting innocent women and children? Or her men having orders from her to kill prisoners of war? Yeah Jon's a real monster for asking those questions. I'm not sure we watched the same show TBH.

Uh, what now? I was never a massive fan of Jon but this OP is ridiculous.

    Castrating Jon (Literally)

That's the whole point. Bran and Tyrion knew they were letting him off light and wanted it like that. The Unsullied had no choice once they took him prisoner instead of killing him as there was an army waiting to stop Jon being killed. It was realistic in that it's not a democracy, its an elective monarchy and the most powerful lords got a vote. Who knows why Davos, Sam, Brienne and Arya got a vote though.

Jon killing Dany doesn’t work for me

You're clearly quite upset at the moment about the handling of Dany in the show. The only thing to do is wait for the books and see what GRRM has planned. If it is the same ending I have no doubt it will be more fleshed out and organic than what the show gave us. Maybe have some trust that GRRM will bring them to a final conclusion in a satisfying way.

Sansa can have Stark Children. Look at House Mormont. The current Starks are decended from Brandon the Daughterless's Daughter anyway. Also look at Ser Joffrey Lydden, who married the last Lannister at the time (who was a woman) and took her name so their children would be Lannisters.
