Lol. Rhaena Farman died @ 70, Rhaena Hightower likely lived long there are also Rhae Targ and Rhaelle Baratheon unaccounted. Im not sure if Rhaegar Frey died or lives?

Only reason i like Blackwood is them staying true to their roots in face of Andal invaders. They are like an island in a wide sea. Always find it weird given their peasants must be mostly Sevener. But i empathize with Brackens. They were right to support lawful heir Aegon II over his traitor sister. Also, Bittersteel wasnt a good person but Bloodraven was the worst. Their lands and septs were despoiled by Blackwoods during dance, which everyone fails to remember while heaping praises to Blackwood.

Your Most Hated ASOIAF theory
Lord of Oldstones replied to Him of Many Faces's topic in General (ASoIaF)
All kinds of secret child theories and especially those involving incest and Lannisters being Aerys bastard. -
Its what realm wants not newly minted King's will. Lyanna's image will certainly be tarnished unless "we were married" excuse is made. Lord Arryn will ask Robert to forget her. Ned Stark would prefer to take his traumatized sister back North over putting up with Robert and hear jibes on her virtue at court.

I too would prefer such as i find House Tarth very cool. But Brienne looks and acts so much like Dunk. Many times it feels westerosi class system very mobile. We have likes of Bronn,Baelish,Clegane and especially Seaworth rising high super fast..can add Spicer, all houses that held Harrenhall( minus Strongs & maybe Qoherys) too there are many more i'm sure. And yet Freys and Tyrells are still looked down upon.

Nothing can top Jocelyn Stark marrying landless lesser branch of House Royce and a younger son in that. If it was someone from North it would make sense. But, Lord Corbray marrying merchant girl is very strange even if House Corbray is so cash poor. Their situwation doesnt seem as severe as House Westerling and I'm sure there are Houses like Frey around to offer half a decent dowry for prestige and influence. Dunks bastard/ legit child's match with House Tarth would be strange too. They seem very proud and noble line.

Baratheon and Martell are the evident one. Tyrells could have Targ blood by Rhaena Hightower's daughters. Lannister having Targ blood by Viserys Plumm's descendant is very possible. But Stark getting Targ blood is very unlikely but theres tiny chance if Aegon IV-Lothson-Whent theory holds or Melantha Blackwood being daughter of Bloodravens sister. I dont see Arryns with Targ blood by any way.

Will Robert really marry her with Lyanna's self confession that she was really bedded (raped) by Rhaegar? I dont think so. And even if by small chance he does, Lyanna wont take Robert either. Her birth marks will make Robert suspicious. She will have to flee to the narrow sea. Fleeing narrow sea seems hard with Varys everywhere and Doran's own spy network in Dorne. Only options seems she will die for her child.

I really hate show Arya to infinity. Her chapters across the sea are very boring to me and i skip those on re-reads but i dont dislike her book version. Arya hate really intesified from her robotic show version. Show Dany gets super annoying as she is made into a messiah and super good saint from S3 until she is made very stupid and finally into a villain and the shit writing in the end made many to like and sympathise with Dany again.

How to make North A financial/economic Power House
Lord of Oldstones replied to Mrstrategy's topic in General (ASoIaF)
Open Fever river for trade and order Flint,Ryswell,Mormont & Glover to build good fleet. Have a Stark held town fief with strong fleet on Sea dragon point and Stony shore. Get your Stark brother to Lordship in Night Watch and return gift back to Umber,Mountain clans and Stark cadet. Rebuild and manage Moat Cailin and pathway along the Neck for good trade outpost. Building bridge north of Twins would also be ideal to get off nusiance of Freys. -
Tully funeral ritual is like half way Targaryen and half way Greyjoy/Ironborn. So, therefore symbolically they are predisposed to combined strong madness that is seen in those two set of family.

Tracing Bloodlines - Speculations on House Dondarrion
Lord of Oldstones replied to Hippocras's topic in General (ASoIaF)
Blackwoods seem to have far and wide marriage network as Eustage Osgrey's quote on past Osgrey glory points, with House Blackwood mentioned as one of the brilliant houses they married in past. So, ancient ties to Stormlands isn't special. House Durrandon likely married them to get a firm hold to invade Trident. As for 4 storms, one of the storm has married old man far beneath her station and has ill repute, other dies in child birth, one is silent sister and only one that could have any children marrying high nobility or having any children is Ellyn. But I also think its not out of question that she will be married to Benjicot Blackwood to promote peace. -
Tracing Bloodlines - Speculations on House Dondarrion

Rather than the Velaryons which makes no sense, chances are very high that youngest one of Cregan's daughters by Alysanne married back to House Blackwood. -
Tracing Bloodlines - Speculations on House Dondarrion
Lord of Oldstones replied to Hippocras's topic in General (ASoIaF)
This female line thing is out of question. Alarra Massey's maternal grandmother could well be some Rosby or Stokeworth and tracing very very further a dock side witch. I think it would be strange for Lena Velaryon to settle for a Penrose unless people look down on her having a baseborn grandmother. Have to say its intruging to think of noble houses descended from Conqueror. -
Does anyone actually support the Greens?
Lord of Oldstones replied to Floki of the Ironborn's topic in General (ASoIaF)
Black fandom are insufferable claiming widow law BS, my god that law was just property law so that children of older wife wasn't overlooked and it doesnt mean everything belonged to kids of 1st wives & it was likely a law for peasants. Next is calling Green Targaryens as Hightowers, claiming more Targ bloodline while Strong boys have less Targ blood than Greens. I wont even talk about that stupid show. -
Why did Roose let Ramsay kill Domeric?
Lord of Oldstones replied to Craving Peaches's topic in General (ASoIaF)
Its so strange that his grandfather and aunt controlling two powerful Lordship, Domeric was never avenged. Lady Barbery is spineless.
