Is the hound Sansa's 'new direwolf'?

Sandor = Sansa's direwolf Sandor = Sansa's dog Sandor = Sansa's Door Perhaps the Moon Door ... someone is flying out of that tower, or two ... Yes. And no. And yes. And no ...
  2. Ha! Nice try! I just think the newer Sub Press Fire & Blood with it's cover has a neat Easter Egg to the finale of ADOS & ASOIAF. It may be the most expensive ASOIAF book if George autographs it ... and then another special someone autographs it too. Spoiler Alert: Potential ending to ASOIAF I just figure someone like you @Daendrew would like this in your collection.
  3. What is this about? @Daendrew Knowing you so far, you probably are one of the guys that picked up one the sold-out 52 limited edition Sub Press Fire & Blood for $1,000 right? Just taking a guess lol https://subterraneanpress.com/all-books/preorders/fire-blood
  4. Nice. And if autographed by GRRM himself, how much do you think it will be worth? What is the most expensive ASOIAF book anyways? I would assume an autograph is required too

Do you like Feast and Dance?

I'll take this advice when I reach AFFC on my current re-read. Sounds fun

Will ADOS Be Entirely Dedicated To The Others?

Can't tell if Euron will even make into ADOS. We'll see, but I see the Ironborn avoiding the fight against the Others at the Trident. GRRM writes in circles, it will be the Battle of the Trident again in 283 AC. The Others Zombie North some Zombie Vale some Zombie Riverlands Zombie Stannis Baratheon (an ice zombie, he is already a zombie in his own way) Jon Snow, Bran Stark and a few others as hostages of the Others vs. Daenerys Targaryen & her forces Dorne forces Reach forces Drogon, Rhaegal & Viserion Ironborn won't participate. Westerlands will think defensively and stay put. Cersei Lannister & King Tommen won't participate, they'll just hide in King's Landing. Ehh ... just taking a guess.
  7. There may be a reason why it took 5 years from 2000 ASOS to 2005 AFFC *putting tin foil hat on* Unfortunately, something crossed my mind a while ago and I confirmed it pretty much with the HBO ending. Sadly, its about the attacks of September 11th 2001. For those who have seen the HBO TV ending, you know a dragon starts exploding buildings in [you can fill in the blank for this city] This was the ending George had in mind since 1996. No way he can predict the events of Sept 11th 2001. He has formula where Jets = Dragons, and it attacked New York City ... the area where he is from. And not just any part of New York City ... but the Twin Towers ... which the Westoresi location of the Twins were influenced by. I am pretty sure the terrorist attacks conflicted him personally and professionally as a writer in 2001. He was alive when the Twin Towers were raised, and he was alive to witness them fall. But its not his fault. And eventually he got over it. And thanks to @kissdbyfire, I saw this image a few months ago: https://grrm.livejournal.com/212603.html Those are the Twin Towers in the background btw. I think he moved on from feeling bad about writing his true ending. *removing tin foil hat* 2005 AFFC & 2011 ADWD is George Lucas' fault *putting tin foil hat back on* The Martini Master Plan: To get revenge on George Lucas for the unfortunate 2005 coincidence, GRRM teams up with HBO and D&D. With his help for the first 4 seasons, Game of Throne has risen in popularity and established itself as one of the best shows on TV. Martin has made a name for himself, rivaling Lucas. Then Martin abandons D&D to fend for themselves. In the meanwhile, Martin has stolen the artist from the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith comics and used him for Fire & Blood 2018. Over time D&D has proven themselves as terrible writers, but the Star Wars franchise have already taken Martin's bait. D&D are contracted for the next Star Wars films, the perfect revenge against Lucas' legacy. D&D won't just stir Star Wars into awfulness, it will be shaken and broken! 2005 - 2019 = 14 years for this Martini Master Plan. So much patience GRRM has. *removing tin foil hat* BTW to D&D, when GRRM told you a dragon will attack [fill in the blank] and buildings start exploding ... fire dragons can't explode buildings. Like Harrenhal, the stones melted ... it doesn't explode!!

Will ADOS Be Entirely Dedicated To The Others?

I think the Others will get 25% to 30% screentime in ADOS. The first half is the Others' southern movement from the Nightfort AND Daenerys' northern movement from Sunspear. I think it will be done creatively too, where we get an Ice Invasion chapter, then a Fire Invasion chapter, then another Ice, then another Fire....etc As each chapter progresses, the two Ice and Fire converge geographically towards the middle. What happens when Ice finally meets Fire? Water. The Ice Invasion and the Fire Invasion will finally clash at the Riverlands/the Trident. And after the Others are finally defeated, then the second half of ADOS will be EPIC.

    Puns and Wordplay

Or sounds like Bloodraven may make a stop at the Twins in ADOS ... should be interesting

    Puns and Wordplay

AHAHAHAAHAHAAAAA Sorry, this is too funny that it may accidentally be true ... but I'm just thinking of Bloodraventree and Craster A Game of Thrones - Sansa V (to unlock the secret message, you swap Sansa/Joffery for Bran/3EC) "Thank you, Your Grace." Sansa smiled, a shy secret smile, just for him. He was listening. She knew he would. "Treason is a noxious weed," Pycelle declared solemnly. "It must be torn up, root and stem and seed, lest new traitors sprout from every roadside." "Do you deny your father's crime?" Lord Baelish asked.

Songs that Make Us Think of A Song of Ice and Fire

Daenerys at the ghost town of Vaes Tolorro: Other searchers returned with tales of other fruit trees, hidden behind closed doors in secret gardens. Aggo showed her a courtyard overgrown with twisting vines and tiny green grapes, and Jhogo discovered a well where the water was pure and cold. Yet they found bones too, the skulls of the unburied dead, bleached and broken. "Ghosts," Irri muttered. "Terrible ghosts. We must not stay here, Khaleesi, this is their place." "I fear no ghosts. Dragons are more powerful than ghosts." And figs are more important. "Go with Jhiqui and find me some clean sand for a bath, and trouble me no more with silly talk." A Clash of Kings - Daenerys I Da na na na naa naa, nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh, da na na na na na naa, nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuhh Ghostbusters! [...] I ain't afraid of no ghosts!

    The Temple of Azor Ahai?

The Temple of Azor Ahai is (mature audience only): Azor Ahai is a surname name for the Targaryen family tree. Azor Ahai reborn is every Targaryen reborn. The last Azor Ahai reborn will make Lightbringer (the conception of children) by using his wife Nissa Nissa's egg/DNA ... as long as the Targaryen DNA DOES NOT mix with Water DNA, and Lion DNA. For the Jon Dawn fans: “It was a time when darkness lay heavy on the world. To oppose it, the hero must have a hero's blade, oh, like none that had ever been. And so for thirty days and thirty nights Azor Ahai labored sleepless in the temple, forging a blade in the sacred fires. Heat and hammer and fold, heat and hammer and fold, oh, yes, until the sword was done. Yet when he plunged it into water to temper the steel it burst asunder.” Davos I ACOK LIGHTBRINGER = LIKE NONE THAT HAVE EVER BEEN Sorry Dawn fans ... we have already seen the likes of Dawn. And there is no way in seven hells that Jon Snow saves the world from a zombie apocalypse by swinging Dawn at a million zombies. I trust GRRM to be more creative than that.
  13. GRRM doesn't write happy endings or bad endings (unlike HBO) ... he writes good endings and earned endings. I just think the Stark/Dayne connection would be a good story, an earned story. Besides, GRRM is not going to give everyone a sad ending. Some characters deserve a happy ending. Out of the Starks, I believe Rickon's future son(s) will carry the Stark bloodline. Bran will have a sad ending when Meera dies. Arya can have a happy ending with Edric Dayne. Sansa I believe she will end up committing suicide by jumping out of a tower (just a hunch). Robb had a very sad ending, so did Ned & Cat ... but it was earned. Jon will have a bittersweet ending. I know, but Arya has Queen Nymeria as a role-model ... therefore naming her direwolf after her. If she marries Edric and has his Dayne children, her children will have Queen Nymeria's blood in their veins. I think that is good story telling. Fan-fiction is where Arya marries Gendry, and somehow Jon Snow ends up with Dawn. Could it happen? Maybe. But I believe GRRM can write a better story than that.
  14. There is currently another thread talking about the credentials of the Sword of the Morning for the current ASOIAF timeline 300AC. Dawn has been MIA since 283AC, so what is another two decades? My pet theory for Arya's fate has always been that she returns to Westeros, and assumes command of the Brotherhood without Banners after Lady Stoneheart finally dies ... something similar to the story of Nymeria: both the direwolf and the Queen. ... I don't know if this topic was ever brought up, but it just hit me now: Queen Nymeria actually married a Dayne, an actual Sword of the Morning. What if Arya Stark marries Edric (Ned) Dayne after ASOIAF is said and done? Their future son becomes Sword of the Morning and gets Dawn, the sword that Ned Stark had temporarily. Ned Stark would actually be the grandfather of the future Sword of the Morning. I don't know how canon this is, but the short HBO animation suggested that a young Ned Stark aspired to be like Ser Arthur Dayne. I think Starfall and Winterfell were meant to be. I believe in the Ashara Dayne + Brandon Stark theory. But they both died, along with their daughter. Tragic story. How poetic and bittersweet if the Dayne/Stark relationship carries on through Edric Dayne and Arya Stark ... with a son named Eddard Dayne, the future Sword of the Morning?

Who will narrate Winds of Winter?

How about Peter Dinklage? TV Spoilers:
