  1. Eddard Waters

Is Walder Frey the smartest man in Westeros?

Walder managed to completely and utterly destroy the reputation of his entire house. He's the Rat Cook come again.

If Renly lives, how does the war play out?

Renly could always just starve out KL. Also something could go horribly wrong with the wildfire leading to KL getting blown up. If KL does fall, and Tywin still refuses to back down do to his pride, will that be enough to effect the Westerlords loyalty to Tywin?
  3. For whatever reason, Renly isn't killed by Melisandre's shadow and Renly crushes Stannis' forces outside Storms End. So what now? Is there any hope for Joffrey and the Lannisters with Renly (and the Tyrells) victorious? How do events play out on Dragonstone with Stannis dead and his army annihilated?

    J=E+Fisherman’s Daughter

The Fishermen's daughter being Jon's mother doesn't make any logical sense if you think about it for half a second. Why the hell would Ned absolutely refuse to reveal the identity of Jon's mother to anyone if she was only just a peasant?

ASoIaF and LotR commentary, comparison and parallels

Wouldn't Daenerys be more similar to Fëanor? With the Iron Throne standing in for the Silmarils?

Who's the worst human being, Tywin Lannister or Roose Bolton

If what Roose Bolton is doing is normal, why the hell did he even bother to cover up his actions?

    Strangest Possible Ending

To be fair, if Cersei got her hands on cloning technology, she's probably narcissistic enough to do something like that.
  8. Eddard Waters

    Bowen's next decision

This got me thinking, if he's even alive by that point, how will Bowen react to Jon's inevitable resurrection/recovery?
  9. Eddard Waters

Who's the worst human being, Tywin Lannister or Roose Bolton

Roose goes around raping his own peasants for no apparent reason other than he feels like it and I wouldn't exactly call Tysha in enemy of House Lannister. What Holster did was horrible but at least by the end of his life he seemed to regret what he did. Certainly doesn't excuse his actions but still.

Stannis wrote the Pink Letter. Clydas changed it

We must never forget the fact that Jon Snow is evil incarnate, doing such horrible things as executing someone who's actively defying and undermining him, giving shelter to refugees that or being hunted down by a race of Omnicidal Ice Elves that can raise armies of corpses, protecting a woman who would have been raped by her uncle, and attempting to get his sister away from a psychopathic nutcase who was threatening to kill everyone on the Wall. We all must fear and hate Dark Lord Jon Snow

Who's the worst human being, Tywin Lannister or Roose Bolton

Two peasants "forgot" to inform Roose about there Wedding, he responded by having the husband hung and raping his wife beneath the husbands hanging corpse. Roose apparently still practices First Night, and is perfectly aware that it is Rape. And that's how Ramsey was conceived. He also apparently knows that human skin makes for poor boots.

Who's the worst human being, Tywin Lannister or Roose Bolton

Jamie, Cersei, and Tyrion are horrible, but they are not even close to Ramsay in terms of sheer horribleness. Domeric from what we've heard of him seemed like a good kid, though we know next to nothing about him so....

Who's the worst human being, Tywin Lannister or Roose Bolton

Tysha would like to have a word with you. Like seriously there are a million ways he could have handled that without doing what he did. That was pure puppy kicking evil and only done to reinforce the idea that no one could love Tyrion.
  14. So we have Tywin Lannister, a sadistic and power-hungry egomaniac who is probably the biggest mass murderer in recent Westerosi history, or Roose Bolton, a psychopathic torturer, serial rapist and Kingslayer.
  15. So Aerys successfully Burns king's Landing to the ground, Tywin, presumably his brothers, and the army he brought with him are nothing more than ash. Eddard Stark and his host arrive to see a city engulfed in greenflames. So who's in charge of the Westerlands? Tyrion is legally the rightful lord of the Westerlands, but he's a dwarf and his sister will inevitably try to kill him. After Tyrion, Cersei is next in line, but she's a woman in a highly patriarchal society and isn't exactly a good leader to put it mildly. There's also a shitload of Lannister cousins who might make a play for Casterly Rock.
