    [Spoilers] Episode 803 Discussion

This whole build up of the NK, was just to get to Bran? Why? Too many questions left unanswered.

Thank you both. I just didn't think I could go back through the last few seasons, looking for the answer. I appreciate your help!

    [Spoilers] Episode 803 Discussion

What happened to direwolf, Summer? I can't remember him being killed off (but that could just be my tired brain at the moment).

    Doran's shameless manipulation of Arianne

I agree. And I think there is a section of dialogue that might be good to note: Would Myrcella have understood 'of the orphans' vs 'an orphan'? I hadn't thought anything about that line in my first read, but it caught my attention in the next read. Is this Rosamund not understanding the meaning of 'the orphans' or Myrcella confused with all she is trying to absorb about their plans in a short time? And it might be nothing at all; just me trying to find clues to make 'the switch' a fact.

Brienne the Beauty: An Unforeseen Queen?

I couldn't agree more. She is such a likeable person, with a good sense of justice, with a heart of beauty. *Unless GRRM makes changes in her!* Love this idea!
  6. While doing a reread I found this: . . . the day he {Aerys} burned his mace-and-dagger Hand, Jaime and Jon Darry had stood at guard outside her bedchamber whilst the king took his pleasure. "You're hurting me," they had heard Rhaella cry through the oaken door. "You're hurting me." In some queer way, that had been worse than Lord Chelsted's screaming. "We are sworn to protect her as well," Jaime had finally been driven to say. "We are," Darry allowed, 'but not from him." Jaime had only seen Rhaella once after that the morning of the day she left for Dragonstone. The queen had been cloaked and hooded as she climbed inside the royal wheelhouse that would take her down Aegon's High Hill to the waiting ship, but he heard her maids whispering after she was gone. They said the queen looked as if some beast had savaged her, clawing at her thighs and chewing on her breasts. A crowned beast, Jaime knew. ~aFfc, Jaime II I'm not sure if this fits with the rattish pointed faces and tiny pink hands like a servitor: But I could only come up with 3 pyromancers (not 4) that Jaime had mentioned: Rossart, Garigus, Belis (unless Aery's himself would be included) Too far off? Not enough textual evidence? I know there are many that think the 'beautiful woman' is Dany, and the rattish little things are the shades of the Undying, but she doesn't recognize herself as the 'beautiful woman'? I'm new at posting theories, as I've mostly just asked questions, so please be gentle with your replies. Thank you

Forging Lightbringer in the Sworn Sword (v 2.0)

Very well written. I appreciate how you lay it all out and explain your theory, and are not afraid to say 'maybe' when you are uncertain. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm sorry. I don't know how to tag you.

    A castle made of snow

Sansa and castles - seems like a pattern is forming Two castles - in the east (maybe the Vale) in fire colors-rose, gold, crimson become one castle. Melting together? Eyrie + Gates of the Moon? Then the towers tumble and it's all ruins.

    Who is the 3EC?

That's just it. Throughout the story, you don't know who good and who is bad. Always that inevitable 'grey' area. Night's Watch are called crows as well, but you believe they are suppose to be the good guys. Choices. It comes down to choices. George is one shady character!

    Who is the 3EC?

At times it seems you get to feel as though 'the tree man' who I believe is Bloodraven, is one person, then at other times, I feel as though he is another. Is it possible someone is using him? I'm not sure how to explain, but will try: It kind of reminds me of a party line: When you (Bloodraven) think you are having a private conversation with someone (Bran), and then find out another person is on the line - listening to the call. Is that listener (3 eyed crow) then able to make Bran believe he is (Bloodraven)? Not sure if that makes any sense at all. caller: Bloodraven to called (Bran) listened by 3EC X contacts Y, but Z takes over the call by muting X I swear if this ends up being an 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' kind of thing, I am truly going to be disappointed. No Aliens please! BUT, then there is the whole thing going on where Sam/Gilly end up getting surrounded by wights and RAVENS are seen and along comes Coldhands riding an elk. Ravens are the good guys and crows are the bad guys?? IDK, I feel so darn lost sometimes in this story.

Poll: Is Quentyn, Called 'Frog', Still Alive?

Nope. I fear his story has ended in dragon fire.

A new look at the puple wedding

'Shae was helping Sansa with her hair when they entered the bedchamber. Joy and grief, he thought when he beheld them there together. Laughter and tears. Sansa wore a gown of silvery satin trimmed in vair, with dagged sleeves that almost touched the floor, lined in soft purple felt. She as arranged her hair artfully in a delicate silver net winking with dark purple gemstones.' Shae is the one who placed the hair net in Sansa's hair that day. How is it that a whore knows how to fix a lady's hair? Maybe she didn't do the job as neatly as a real lady's maid? And Lady Olenna noticed that the job was not done as well as it should have been. "You do look quite exquisite, child," Lady Olenna Tyrell told Sansa when she trotted up to them in a cloth-of-gold gown that must have weighed more than she did. "The wind has been at your hair though." The little old woman reached up and fussed at the loose strands, tucking them back into place and straightening Sansa's hair net. . . " So who had access to the hair net and black amethyst? Well, we have two possible suspects mentioned here. I know Shae wasn't at the feast, but once she has possession of the amethyst, all she has to do is get it into the hands of the person who has been arranged to do the poisoning. IF she is the one who took the amethyst.
