  1. I think the Fishfeed won't be shown since it involves so few main character. Lord Jason should be long dead by that point, and most commanders on the Black's side are supporting characters. Since its the end of Cole's story the Butchers Ball will certainly be shown to some extend. I suspect the battle of the gullet will be a season ending battle episode ala blackwater.
  2. The Blackwoods obviously even though I suspect their leading trio might be cut or greatly condensed. Given he's one of the more prominent lords in Westerosi history I don't think Alyn will end up getting cut. They probably won't do an invasion of Dorne or regency era show, but in case they do its useful if they already established Alyn is around.
  3. The episode certainly wasn't bad but it did kinda feel like filler. Where's Waldo but in Kingslanding. Whether that's a bad thing depends on what they can get out of next episode. If they don't manage to get Storms End and....''cheese'' in the next episode then the Where's Waldo subplot might have been time better spend elsewhere. From Harwin and Rhaenyra's relationship, more scene with the younger versions of the princes, to the White Worm or Laena there's a lot of story aspects that weren't given the time they might have deserved. So with that in mind I do think this more filler orientated episode might end up being among the more controversial ones.
  4. I mean that was the same deal he pitched in the books and got rejected. According to one of the three narrators at least.
  5. That's kinda concerning as far as the timescale goes. He just seems too young to have a teenaged child in just 15 years. I kinda suspect Ben's getting scrapped and that this kid's supposed to be an easter egg for people who know of Benjicot.
  6. So I have a question. We see lord Samwell Blackwood as a young boy. Would this imply that we won't be seeing Benjicot Blackwood? Because at the time of the dance this young boy should be a father with a teenage son, which he might not be if he's introduced so young.
  7. Sure. But unless you ask Robert Rhaegar has quite a fine reputation. Rhaegar fought honorably, Rhaegar fought valiantly and Rhaegar died. Not Raegar abandoned his wife, Rhaegar abandoned his children and Rhaegar, his wife and his children all died. Its not quite a Robb scenario where he got pressed into marriage either. Its realistic but its also the behavior of a scumbag which the plot generally doesn't depict Rhaegar as.
  8. I'm not overly impressed. I like Arya but I don't see any reason she would get to kill the Nightking. I suspect its just because pretty much everyone loves Arya and thinks she's really cool rather than for thematic reasons. Jon not being the chosen one kinda brings down Rheagar. There's implication that he desperately sought to fulfill the prophesy of the prince that was promised and that Lyanna might be part of that. But no, he just doomed his dynasty and abandoned his wife and kids because he was feeling horny. The White walkers are also kinda pathetic, getting defeated in a single episode. Maybe Jon Snow really didn't know anything after all and house Lanister was the true danger all along.
  9. Indeed we didn't but the episode did seem to try and make the kid give us some impression. Umber was shown to try his best despite stumbling on his words and he was the only northen lord giving Danny the time of day.
