    Are the starks finished?

None of that has anything to do with the books. It isn't even remotely like that. This is a pure D&D creation.

You know how symbolism works, right? This is Bran starting to savor the taste of blood just as Aemon described how he feared ravens savored the taste. It's to distinguish the two types of ravens. Those that eat the flesh and those that eat grain. Eating the flesh gives them strength, but there are those that resist it. Bran's three-eyed crow and the children of the forest there are evil.

I added the Jojen paste scene. “It had a bitter taste, though not so bitter as acorn paste. The first spoonful was the hardest to get down. He almost retched it right back up. The second tasted better. The third was almost sweet. The rest he spooned up eagerly. Why had he thought that it was bitter?”

"Most ravens will eat grain, but they prefer flesh. It makes them strong, and I fear they relish the taste of blood. In that they are like men ... and like men, not all ravens are alike. Doves and pigeons can also be trained to carry messages, though the raven is a stronger flyer, larger, bolder, far more clever, better able to defend itself against hawks ... yet ravens are black, and they eat the dead, so some godly men abhor them." -Aemon Targaryen Jojen paste “It had a bitter taste, though not so bitter as acorn paste. The first spoonful was the hardest to get down. He almost retched it right back up. The second tasted better. The third was almost sweet. The rest he spooned up eagerly. Why had he thought that it was bitter?”

If you were writing an evil people that lied, would you call it the False Tongue? Crows and ravens are cousins. The Three-eyed crow is Brynden Rivers, also known as Bloodraven. He is simply known as three-eyed raven in the show.

Wait, your argument is that because they themselves call their own language the True Tongue, they speak truth and we should believe them?

Season 8: News, Spoilers And Leaks

People keep wondering why he can't seem to finish his story. Maybe this is why. He has an end he wants to get to, but he can't get there logically. So he keeps throwing in these secondary characters to try to get the characters get there. However, the cost is that he lost his way in the multitude of characters. Bran was no longer the central point he had planned when he was going to be a deposed king because he couldn't logically get him there in the first book. Even his outline sorta magically placed him there without an explanation as to how. So here we are, five books in and more focus on Jon, very little focus on Bran. With this is him showing his skill at leading and now he will rise to power from Lord Commander to king in the North to what? His story progression gets cut off? For Bran whom readers barely have any attachment to? GRRM may be good at weaving words, but he has demonstrated a completely inability to write a proper character arc progression and his ending will demonstrate this. At this point it makes it seems as he's just deceiving us about his characters, Bran is as much a conspiracy against the readers as he is against the realm. He should probably go back and revise his ending to fit what he's created, but he won't. I think he's too stubborn. One thing is for sure, he is going to hear the backlash of Bran being king after the next episode.

D&D didn't know by their own admission the ending of the story until between season 3 and season 4.

We are five books in with the story so derailed at this point, Bran as king is a joke. Those paragraphs you say are foreshadowing is also shallow to non-existent. In his original manuscript he was to be deposed by the end of book 1. That's long gone.

Watch the reaction of watchers to Bran being king at the end of AGOT. That would pale in comparison to the reaction of book readers.

Technically he says that Bran still exists in his mind. Hodor still existed in Hodor when Bran warged him, he fights until he gives up and then hides in the dark corner of his mind scared. We aren't exactly sure what's going on with the 3EC. It seems to be the embodiment of all the past greenseers.

I hope for the sake of ASOIAF that Bran ends up being evil and thwarted because at this point, who the hell wants Bran on the throne at the end of the books? I may just move on from the book series if that's the end of the TV show.

What I find interesting about most of the leaks is it doesn't quite line up with /u/afraidpart leak which says. There's nothing remotely like that in almost all the leaks and afraidpart is by far the most reliable, he leaked almost everything almost a year ago. No battle at all is mentioned in all but the one that stands out among the rest, and that one doesn't seem to lineup either. His source is an animator on the VFX team. Then there's this from afraidpart. Which contradicts

The only motive we get from the 3EC is self-preservation. The question is where does that self-preservation extend from. The vast majority of the greenseers, and thus the old gods are children of the forest. The same ones that the Pact was made for men to stop cutting down the weirwoods. Yet again the Andals invaded later and started cutting them down again. From Bran's point of view we have the 3EC telling us the old way is superior to the new way.
