Red Flags: Dany = Meereen Nobles

I think Mirri is a witch and she just knew the future.

You're wrong. The series clearly shows that Mirri KNEW that Dany’s baby would die to “save” Khal. "I warned you that only death can pay for life. You knew the price".

Jon killing Dany doesn’t work for me

In real life there are no special conditions for love. You just fall in love and that's all. They are coeval , handsome, young, unmarried, crowned. It was easy to fall in love.

Jon killing Dany doesn’t work for me

He killed Ygritte not directly, but by his actions. He sacrificed love for duty. And he did it a second time with Daenerys.

Jon killing Dany doesn’t work for me

You guys, who didn't accept Jon's actions, just never understood this character. He was always a man of duty. His duty is to protect humanity. Jon just could not do otherwise.

    The Ending Was very conventional

    Gray Worm is our king?

    The Ending Was very conventional

I am very glad that tolerance and liberal cliches were destroyed in the ending. The ending is bad for the most part, but it's a good point. Naive fools believed that crowds of migrants from another culture would live peacefully in a “white country”? But they massacred the locals, and then the locals sent them back home. Martin will probably just kill them in the books. This is realism. You cannot live peacefully with aggressive outsiders.

    The Ending Was very conventional

It is not boring, it is natural.

    The Ending Was very conventional

So what? If non-whites want to see a non-white king in fantasy, then let them write their own books. White Martin writes normal fantasy with normal white kings

This ending is nothing but Bitter

No, he was talking about a bittersweet ending like Lord of the Rings.
  11. Queen of the Ashes? A Dreams of Spring? A Song of Ice and Fire? What do you think?

    The purpose of R+L=J?

Drogon is not dangerous without dragonlord.

    The purpose of R+L=J?

The prince that was promised stopped both threats - ice and fire.

This ending is nothing but Bitter

I think Martin has always intentionally lied to us. He knew that there would never be a bittersweet ending. If I knew this, I would never wait for the final for many years.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

Indeed, when needed. But Dany behaved like Ramsay on a dragon. Chaotic evil in all its glory.

    Title of the last episode

But we already had the Wind of Winter.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

Come on, from the very beginning I said that now I see only death for Dany. But if the war ended with the bells, the absence of heirs would not be so terrible.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

    Because Joffrey was a tyrant.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

Red Wedding happened during the war. But Dany won the war.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

"There never was a good war, or a bad peace." "A good conqueror cannot be a good person." "There is no good war even with a good leader." I think this is an overall anti-war message from Martin.
  21. This is ruthlessness to the enemies. It has nothing to do with the mass murder of civilians.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

I don't think this is such a big problem. Dany is very young and her reign could last for many decades. Over the years you can find the right person as heir. It would have been a good bittersweet ending: Jon and Dany were married, the Golden Era had begun, but we knew that they would have no heirs. But now all this is not important. All this has become impossible after the bells and the dragonfire.

    Unpopular Opinion: Support Daenerys

Daenerys is one of my favorite characters. But I think she must die. Otherwise, what will be the moral of this story? The best way to get power is to shed as much blood as possible? I don't think Martin wants to tell us that.

"The true enemy... brings the storm"

Sure, "ice and fire" have several meanings. And one of them may be: pure Ice is Others and they are dangerous, but pure Fire - dragons - are also dangerous. Dragons were needed to defeat the Others, but in the end they are also dangerous to the world.
  25. S6E10: "The true enemy won't wait out the storm. He brings the storm." Is it Jon's foreshadowing about Daenerys Stormborn? Not only the Night King was the true enemy? The Night King brought an ice storm, and Daenerys brought a fire storm? As we know, Martin has said that the title of A Song of Ice and Fire was inspired by the poem "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost. Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice. Now it makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? Of course, Dany is not the enemy of mankind, as Others. But her dragonfire brought great destruction. And maybe Jon "his is the song of ice and fire" should stop both threats - ice and fire?
