  1. I thought that the dropped tools was a signal between Gus and Mike’s planted man in the kitchen
  2. Could Anson Mount’s hair be any more glorious? Seriously.
  3. Anyone else watching Outer Range? I am really really enjoying this and Josh Brolin is wonderful as always
  4. He’s no less blameable dead as long as what he thinks it’s about happened (or could have happened) before that
  5. It’s ten more episodes I think, so we have a fair chunk to go.
  6. I’m sure Aaron Paul will be okay even if he somehow finds out that I- random lady on the internet with face tattoos that he would very likely find as unattractive as I find him- am not into him that way. Just like Michael Mando doesn’t care if he makes me swoon (though he does)
  7. Perhaps part of the difference is that I am a person attracted to men and Michael Mando is about nine billion times more attractive Aaron Paul looks to me like a cabbage patch kid of Ali G
  8. But it was given from the start that was the most likely outcome for Nacho- we all knew he wasn’t in Breaking Bad and you certainly didn’t expect anything nice to happen for him. We had a whole other show that was both after the fact and contained examples of what to expect for Nacho. By the time we meet him we know to expect heartbreak I spent the whole time thinking “I am going to be so hurt later when I have to watch him die” I wouldn’t have cared -at all- if Jesse died
  9. Gus thinks he’s dead now, he might keep it that way in hopes of getting revenge on Gus since he and Hector aren’t going to buy that Nacho wasn’t working for them. Maybe he’s the one who helps Hector get his revenge since obviously he didn’t arrange that alone.
  10. I think Breaking Bad was just a bigger show in the cultural zeitgeist. I would never have described Jesse as lovable, though I know I was in the minority in finding every single character in Breaking Bad who does not appear in Better Call Saul to be very unlikable. I watched the first season and a half and never finished until Better Call Saul season one ended and I restarted just to get more of Saul and Mike.
  11. You think Jesse Pinkman is more likable than Ignacio Varga?!???? This is shocking. Here is my predictions for the season- Kim asking Jimmy if he wants to be a friend of the cartel or a rat is going to foreshadow into Gene’s timeline. I predict Lalo lives and takes over the cartel after Fring and Hector die (Saul asks Jesse and Walt if Lalo sent them). Kim goes to jail for something regarding her Howard scheme or something she does after. Gene tries to take the deal in the end by rolling on Lalo, perhaps pinning more on Lalo than he is even guilty of. The show is about the main character (in all of his names and personas) not being sure who he is or wants to be. I don’t think he’s going to have an ending similar to Walt’s and I don’t think we’d have seen any of Gene if that was going to be where we leave him in his arc. In interviews about the last episode, I saw more than one person involved describe the central character to that episode to be “breaking good” Maybe that’s a larger theme for the show, and maybe we will see Jimmy attempt to do the right thing in the end.
  12. It was way better than the Walter ending. This was selfless, and Walter was never anything BUT self
  13. That’s absolutely terrible, my condolences
  14. @RhaenysBee I do it after @Isisif you’re looking for improvement in texture, a medium or deep peel is a great option
  15. I do it fairly regularly, supposedly it gets serums and such to penetrate further. I can’t say that I notice much difference but I pretty much resolved my skin issues before trying that.
  16. If you’re having discrimination related issues you could try Nurx, which is where I get my spironolactone and trentinoin and birth control prescriptions via online service. They have a very limited and specific scope but it’s a very straightforward process where you fill out a questionnaire and send photos so they can confirm yes you have acne or whatever and they just mail you your prescriptions. They were also great when I just messaged saying I wanted to switch from .05 to .1% trentinoin. It being more impersonal seems to also make it more impartial
  17. I was never able to get a handle on hormonal acne until I was prescribed spironolactone (it’s a pill, not a topical). If you’re not happy with the Differin you could ask your derm about it. It was a real game changer for me
  18. YBD has asked that I go to therapy with him. He has not gotten vaccinated, he has not gone to therapy himself, nor has he even apologized- but he thinks we can work this out. Which I guess means he thinks he can make me change my mind without making any changes to the actual reasons I broke up with him.
  19. The thing is that with Feline Leukemia, there are no symptoms for long periods of time, but special precautions need to be taken to keep them alive since small infections that would be no big deal to cats without it can be fatal for a cat with Feline Leukemia.
  20. Presumably, she goes to the vet though, and that is an environment where exposure could happen. Or, god forbid, something happens to you, and she must change households. The past couple years have shown us all we can get exposed to disease a lot more easily than we assume. It’s a physically uncomfortable end for cats most of the time and I’d personally never skip the vaccine because you just never know. You could also ask for a titer to see if she has immunity if you can’t get hold of the records
  21. When I get peely I use a good moisturizer and serum, let those absorb a few minutes, and then I use a petrolatum based product to seal it in (I use Nivea cream) so the air can’t steal the moisture you just applied. If you want to wear eyeshadow or don’t want to be shiny, I’d do this before bed
  22. I still haven’t been dating but I’ve had a nice reprieve from coworker awkwardness while he’s been on vacation the past two weeks. One of my other colleagues runs a punk and metal record label and is trying to steer me toward a member of one of the bands on it. Apparently this young man is about to stand trial for punching a white supremacist, which is actually a mark in his favor to me. Still don’t really know that I have time or inclination to be spending on men right now though.
  23. For those of us who have suffered from melasma/hyperpigmentation, I have a new recommendation! previously the only thing that had been helping were medium to deep chemical peels at my medspa. Those were very effective and results took about a week, which was when I finished looking like a shedding snake. This option is great, but expensive (best one I got was a one and done but it was about $700) I have signed up for Musely, which is an online based subscription service for prescription skincare (they also deal with lightening skin in ***other*** areas). In 2 1/2 weeks I’ve seen significant improvement in my melasma, which I was expecting to either not work at all or take longer since I’d stopped believing in topicals after months of using SkinMedica’s Lytera 2.0 to no avail (and it’s expensive). I was pretty impressed and would recommend it. I was pretty peely for the first week or so, which is usually the case when I get a new product. You can pm me if you want to try it, pretty sure my account has some discount codes and they’re stingy about other types of discounts at signup.
