As much as I would prefer Jon not being Rhaegar's seed but instead Ned's, or Brandon's, neither of those choice is possible. Brandon died 2 years before Jon's birth and the only time Ned and Ashara were in the same place was even before Brandon's death. I do think that Ned and Ashara had a child. But they had a daughter not a son.
