  1. Indeed. My point was: what does your theory/fanfic/ etc have to do with characters who married up?
  2. What's this have to do with marrying up? The Penroses who married Aerys I and Princess Elaena Betha Blackwood and Aegon V
  3. This is pedantic, but can someone edit the Unsullied page and correct it to "heavy" infantry, rather than "light" infantry? If the Unsullied are indeed a hoplite phalanx, then that's heavy infantry ("Heavy" and "light" have nothing to do with how much armor they have).
  4. What? Why? Marry Daemon, he's the "best" of them Bang Bloodraven Kill Euron The M's Maegelle (daughter of Viserys I) Mace Tyrell Grown up Maegor (son of Aerion)
  5. Oooh, hard one. Marry Garlan Bang Willas Kill Loras (sorry) The R's Robb Stark Rhaella (sister of Aerys II) Ravella Swan (she's Lady of Acorn Hall, she puts Arya in a dress to help identify).
  6. Indeed. Though, I do think there's a way you could logically pull it off and you would only need wagons for a section of the trip. You would need barges and other methods of water transportation, but you might be able to transport it up the Mander and then along the Gold Road to the Blackwater. Also, it could be food for the garrison and Lannister armies primarily, but starving peasants and wars don't mix (they don't mix in peacetime, but you get the point). And frankly, the Spartan legends are idiotic, since the hoplite phalanx is vulnerable in places.
  7. What were your favorite parts of the blog? (Mine was the Siege of Gondor and the Helm's Deep series, the kit reviews are also pretty good. I enjoyed watching him rip GRRM's so-called "amalgam of cultures" statement to shreds)
  8. He's worked with the author and he was, as @StarksInTheNorth put it is the author of the canon book that you base quite a lot of evidence upon.....he's stated bluntly that they aren't the same. Thanks.
  9. It's an update. And it's purple for me as well. There is no argument that you can produce that can go against Ran, who literally stated that they are not the same people. Considering he worked with GRRM himself, I don't see why you insist on staying on the Serenei=Larra stuff. A hairline isn't all that much evidence either. And again, Ran conferred with GRRM and the art person (something with an M and a V).

  12. Well, we did have the bit about Laena sailing back to Driftmark with the twins and Daemon flying there with Caraxes and Vhagar.....considering how important a dragon was to the Targs before they lost them I would think either they did or their children.....IDK.

  19. Gods, I feel bad for the wife that gave birth to 40 sons. But that also means said woman spent a fairly large amount of her life pregnant.....
