  1. The problem with the “subverting expectations” shit is that when you lean too hard into that, you get seasons 6-8.
  2. I don’t see her going but, as she did in the show. But I could totally see her going to Westeros as a tyrant. Also seeing all the toxic Dany/Targ fans on Twitter and tiktok cry about it would be so cathartic.
  3. She didn’t necessarily kill them herself, but her utter lack of foresight and planning led to Astapor falling
  4. I can’t seem to find it. I’ve heard so many others speak of it, I just took it for truth to be honest.
  5. Except now they are bond to those men, who’ll no doubt continue to rape them
  6. When the Dothraki attack the Lhazareen in GoT, Dany essentially forces the men to marry the women they were raping. Essentially forcing these women into sexual servitude and no one seems to bring it up.
  7. Oh I think she is Azor Ahai. I just think the PTWP and Song are different
  8. Referencing The Others, Daenerys, and Jon? I think most of us are aware of the interview where GRRM confirmed that Dany is the Fire while the Others are Ice. But could he have been speaking more of Daenerys’ bloodline? And if the the theory that the Starks are related to the Others is true. Then Jon’s bloodline would be of Ice and Fire. And his existance would be the song as it were.
  9. Any northern lord with a brain knows Ramsay is an aberration amongst aberrations. And again, you act as if Jon is coming in with a clean slate, when he already has a reputation. And if and when he becomes KITN, his true lineage may still be a secret.
  10. I personally think the green men are a different species all together than the COTF.
  11. Jon still has Stark blood from his mother. The North, while not as progressive as Dorne, does seem to grant women more respect than the south. Plus he was raised by Ned, and has a reputation of his own throughout the North. I’m not saying it’d be perfectly smooth or without opposition, but he is Ned’s son. To partially quote from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 “Rhaegar may be his dad, but Ned is his Daddy.” Im sure Northern Lords would rather follow him than a child. And what if Jon having Targ blood does the opposite then what you say? The Northern lords have a chance to put one of theirs on the IT.
  12. See I disagree. At least 2 major Northern Lords want Jon as King. And I doubt it’ll be just 2 of them. And the South doesn’t care much for the Night Watch and sees it as a glorified penal colony. And Jon joined voluntarily, not because of any crime. Not saying it’ll be a non issue, but I’d wager less people will have a problem with it then you think.
  13. See I disagree. I think Jaime lives as long as Cersei does. He either dies with her, or will die after her. Whether or not it’s during the story or later in his life.
  14. Cersei would think it’s a conspiracy against her Jaime may actually be happy by it. Not protecting Rhaegar’s children has been something Jaime regrets. So him finding out about Jon could make him happy. I personally love the idea of Jaime being PC of Jon’s KG. I doubt it’ll happen, but I’d love it.
  15. If he knew that it would end it and save the world, yes I think he would.
  16. Evil Jon is a bastard born in the North. Who rose up to a position of great leadership in the North. But his name is Ramsay Bolton. A bastard born of rape, whereas Jon was likely born of consensual sex, Mayhaps even love. Ramsay was raised at a mill by his mother and a disgusting servant of Roose. Jon was raised by his “father”, as a bastard, but an equal in other respects to his siblings. Jon always wanted to be Lord of Winterfell but would never have betrayed his siblings. Whereas Ramsay murdered his brother to steal his position. Ramsay is a sadistic, cowardly, scoundrel. Jon is unselfish, courageous, and honorable. Ramsay is Jon’s FOIL. Ramsay IS evil Jon.
  17. If the Others are destroyed than so to must the dragons. If the Others are appeased or defeated, then the dragons need to stay
  18. I recently made this comment in ASOIAF tiktok, but the idea is an interesting one, but also quite cracked. The abomination apparently confirms Bran will be King at the end. Whether or not that’s true, or it has been changed is unknown. But there have been implications throughout the story that Dragons can be skinchanged. Is it possible Bran permanently skin changes into Drogon and steals his body. So he becomes King, with the wisdom of the Weirwood network, and the raw power and longevity of a dragon’s body. Possibly breeding more dragons, so as too switch once Drogon ages.
  19. I think the Tyrells do probably end up with the Targs. Aegon if Dany never comes to the South. I’ve a strong suspicion Dany may not ever go to King’s Landing, I think she may head straight to the North after hearing about the Others. Either from Quaithe or the Starks.
