Hello everyone! I only just found the introduction thread after having been busy reading old posts and trying to see how crazy some of my aSoFaI theories were! I only read the books in Feb/March! Before that I just assumed GRRM was like all the other fantasy that I'd written off as rubbish or unoriginal, until my other half brought me the aGoT. How wrong I was! I was so wrong that instead of concentrating on my studies (I'm in the final year of my astrophysics degree) I managed to read all the books in about two weeks. Its safe to say I didn't get much work done! I don't normally post on forums after being entirely too addicted to LotR forum The Barrow Downs whilst studying my A-levels, but I just had to see if my theories were sensible. Seeing as I'm soon to be a graduate and as of yet have no idea what I'm going to be dong afterwards I thought I might indulge myself and stick around. Afterall Staffordshire and Keele uni are VERY dull places to be.
