  1. Geesh, they almost make it look like Tywin did it to get Tommen on the throne.
  2. The Kingsguard really do their duty. I love how the king is choking to death and theres still one of the white cloaks just chilling in the background.
  3. On rewatch, whoever outfitted Brienne really wanted to do their best to make her stand out. Not only is she 7 feet, but bright blue while everyone else is wearing red and gold. BAM! She sticks out.
  4. I was really hoping Jaime would not just be an ass to Loras and invite him into the Kingsguard. But I think I'm the only person who cares that he isn't in a white cloak.
  5. The person to whom I was replying said that it was done immediately after she touched Sansa.
  6. I remember thinking his episode last season was the worst of the entire season. So I'm no longer in the "Martin's episode will be the best" mindset.
  7. I also found it interesting that Bran is starting to get visions. In the first season the producers were so strongly against giving him dreams, for whatever reasons, but it looks like they can no longer avoid it. Snow on the throne, dragons over King's Landing. Interesting stuff.
  8. Was this Martin's episode? Gosh that makes his last two episodes rather poor.
  9. I also have to remark that the Ramsey and Roose scene was nicely done. I was wary about spending so much time at the Dreadfort, but I liked it.
  10. There's plenty of time to establish the fact that Sansa's necklace played a role in the murder. I don't see why D&D wouldn't do that. In the books it happened shortly after the wedding, so I'm hoping next week Sansa tells Dontos that the necklace is missing a stone.
  11. I gave it an 8, it really wasn't as good as I was hoping it'd be. I thought the wedding would be more dramatic, chaotic and overall just better. Good to see Joff dead but not as good as I wanted.
  12. They do have him take a sip of the wine once with no issue. It wasn't until it was placed by Marg next to Olenna that Joffrey started coughing though.
  13. I'd give it an solid 8. A really good episode overall, I really loved the opening with Twin but some of the changes (ugh such a purist) I didn't like, particularly Tyrion's welcoming of Oberyn.
  14. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. It was almost as horrifying as when I read it. I just can't even.. I didn't really like Talisa, but starting it all off with stabbing her in the belly made me gasp and instantly made me feel awful. They also tricked me in the end, I thought they'd maybe let Catelyn live but then..again made me gasp. I'm ready for Stoneheart and some Frey-slaying.
  15. I feel nearly as awful as I did reading it, just empty and..man. Michele Fairley's performance was beyond great. i hope they bring her back soon as Stoneheart and I'll root for her until the end.
  16. I ultimately decided to give this episode a 7. I don't think it was any worse than last week's, but I expected so much more from Martin's episode.
  17. Sorry if this has been asked, but there are 15 pages, how does this average compare to the others?
  18. I'm really hoping they give her the opportunity to make up for it in the Red Wedding and I would forgive them.
