The present High Septon would do it if she is still intact because he doesn't seem to like Cersei anyway and he's a wheeler and dealer. But he's probably going to get killed by a Sand Snake after she realized he's not a typical dude who can be manipulated by a pretty lady.

Sansa has always had an openness, think of the number of times that got her in trouble with the Lannisters or she feared what she had said. That was early pre KL with Joffrey and later in King's Landing. Now, she has less fear, that's the only change as far as I can tell, which may have it's own issue. She hasn't really changed her personality very much, she's matured, is slightly wiser into the evils of men but otherwise plays the Lord's daughter perfectly, because she is, and more or less acts like Sansa, looks like Sansa, and the only difference is hair dye. And while the story is a fantasy, that shit would have to reapplied like once per week to keep any red from showing. We never spent much time with Sansa before KL, this is likely who she was.

But the Tears are a slow poison, the only reason even a super old dude died was because his Maester was replaced by a Lannister Toady. I mean, I guess he might have died later, but it was implied that he might have lived had Pycelle not taken over.

I was just looking at the Which Realm/Castle thread over in the World of Ice and Fire sub forum, and realized what this chapter means for the Reach. Garlen will retake everything and Highgarden will be just as safe as anywhere else in the realm (I mean, Euron wants to burn everything, including the Reach), but Garlan and co are fine.

The White Woman is probably Cat, heh, I will be right sooner or later and be able to laugh because ya, I thought of that.

Arys was character development for Arianne. If one of Quentyn's companions becomes a meaningful POV I will revise my opinion, but neither of his surviving two were prominent in the way Arianne was in Arys' chapters, so I don't think it's likely or natural to do so.

You don't need Quentyn to have Dorne v. Dany, you just need Arianne's unbridled wish to ascend a throne, she's the one in charge of Dorne's reaction right now, if she married Aegon, it would be Dorne v. Dany, just like that. You also didn't need him to release the Dragons, anyone of a number of people already in the story want them dead. Yes, he is the most useless character in fiction at this point.

Didn't Oldtown surrender to the Targs because of a prophecy that if they fought the Targs their city would be burned to the ground or something? So, yep, I foresee Euron offering them Highgarden (which they have always though they should have received), and they will jump at the chance, and end up fighting Dany with Oldtown being burned to the ground by Drogon. Note, I am not in favour of this, I love the Reach.

There's what? 40 ships, probably built specifically for fighting up North on the East coast for the Manderly's? Also, Braavos doesn't want this ass nugget in charge as he's less likely than anyone save Cersei to actually pay back the Iron Bank.

Alayne's champion will kill or cripple Harry, breaking alliances LF has carefully cultivated in the Vale. He put something in her control, or rather its something he didn't think to control himself, and it will bite him hard in the ass, leading to split between him and Sansa.

He doesn't like or trust LF, but Sansa is playing him masterfully.

LF could die several way that would please me, but the main two are either Sansa manipulating someone to kill him that he didn't expect, ie. Lothor Brune, or someone like Lynn Corbray who he thinks is in his pocket just cuts his head off instead.

I won't ask you to look at all my posts, suffice to say, I am not a Sansa fan...I have enjoyed her chapters since the Purple Wedding, but Sansa has not been clear on what she desires yet, and don't forget, she is mirroring Arya's chapters and Arya also doesn't know what she wants, we have had fun speculating on when she might find something that prompts her to move, and Alayne is in the same situation.

Boy, people are being critical, Sansa doesn't know what she wants right now, so she's following LF's plan, which on paper puts her as Lady of the Vale, Queen of the North and probably the Riverlands as well.   What makes you think Sansa doesn't want that? I've read the same chapters you have, she doesn't want Robert to die, but in any case, it seems likely to happen, that's the only contrary thought she has.

I kind of agree, but she did tell LF what Harry said to her and he basically gave her a variation of the speech that Tyrion gave Jon way, way, way back in Game of Thrones. I don't think anyone calling her bastard will bother her anymore. So, she's taking her lessons and much like Arya is not reporting everything to her present guardian.

Well, I watch Elio and Linda's recaps of the show, but I don't watch the show. This is mostly because they talk about the books on the recaps and for some reason, seeing Linda get mad is really entertaining for me.   I just don't think because they decided to edit out the Vale story and catapult Sansa into Jeyne's place that that necessarily means that Sansa will lose her virginity in the books. They have changed so much I don't think other than the ultimate ending that the story will be much the same for these last two books.   See, George based a lot of the background for these books on the War of the Roses, which although much of the fighting ended before she ascended the throne, the instability didn't go away until Elizabeth was Queen. Her sister Mary might have been the figure that ended all the mistrust and vitriol except she went crazy on the Anglicans and threatened to set off a whole new civil war. Maybe Myrcella will go crazy after they kill her Mommy and with no real support other than from Dorne she goes on a witchhunt against the Faith. Then Alayne, pro Westerlands (Tyrion), pro Vale, pro Riverlands, pro North, pro Dorne (female inheritance) will ascend the throne and heal the realm.   I should note, I am not a Sansa fan, when I reread I don't read most of her chapters, but I am an Elizabeth I fan, mostly because I am reading history books instead of living under her rule, and she's well regarded by English historians.

Sansa is still a virgin, and will be the virgin queen, taking the place of Queen Elizabeth, that theory courtesy of the Game of Thrones Academy channel on youtube (spectacular channel).

  Yes, she needs to be able to be called a bastard without flinching like she did when Harry first arrived if she really wants to play the game, or the flinch has to be deliberate on her part, much like Arya has learned with the FM.   I didn't enjoy reading Sansa's chapters prior to her escaping KL, sometimes because she was being an idiot (like with Lady and running to Cersei), and others because Joffrey was in them, or others because she was sad, for good reason (married to Tyrion, etc...), I did like her chapter around the riot, but only because Sandor was awesome there.   I really enjoyed this chapter and she's one of the characters I am most looking forward to now. So, that just shows you shouldn't get stuck in one opinion.

He has worked many lords onto his side, including a few influential ones and is worming away at the Lords Declarant. I don't see LF getting out of the Vale alive because I see at least one of his plans falling apart that ends with Sansa and Co turning against him. Yes, Harry is an asshole, but well, are you a woman or gay? Because you might be underestimating the allure of the sexy young woman Sansa portrayed in this chapter.

He might be upjumped, but at this point Alayne is heir to Harrenhall, and there is no question that LF is quite rich, so in the end, every noble house starts somewhere.

He doesn't like LF because LF brokered a marriage to a bastard. If he discovers Sansa's true identity or gets over the bastard thing as he seems to be doing at the end of the chapter, then his animosity towards LF need not continue. Waynwood might be bad mouthing him, but that's pretty bitter on her behalf as it would appear that LF bought up her debts and then likely forgave them in return for the marriage agreement, win win I should think.

There is a new High Septon and dead dwarves showing up won't endear the Tyrells to him, and they had better make friends even after everything because he is the head of the rabble that is growing and I don't think even the Tyrells can have the PR to hold them off, especially with all their armies needed for the Ironborn, a PR disaster in the making, a replay of the loss of Winterfell. A rabid dwarf hunt won't help them, and remember, we have had dwarven holy men so far in the books, at least one, and I think he was killed. They need the High Septon in a bloody good mood to call a crusade on the Ironborn. I don't disagree, I would toss a coin, it's just as savvy as Marge seems, the first dwarven head plopped down in front of her...well, I just like the believe she is nicer than that, and so is Tommen who likely has very pleasant memories of his uncle, while having horrible memories of Joffrey and likely little to no fond memories of Tywin. Hell, in a couple of years Tommen may just pardon Tyrion, I would if I was him (I personally thing Tyrion is evil, I've explained why in other posts).

Yes, I also agree. If Marge is Queen, Cersei is toast. The only person in the world who would care if Tyrion was found would be Jaime and he likely doesn't want Tyrion dead or maybe even care if he is found. So, Marge seems more likely to call off the bounty because all its doing is getting a lot of dwarves killed.
